Maybe your program is getting by on the strength of a brand from a by-gone era, and you should’ve thrown everything you had at David Taylor when he was, fleetingly, on the market.

why would they walk about adderall when mesenbrink is on the team? thats his kryponite.

Why would I care to do that when it has nothing to do with my point?

Pick a fight with someone who actually cares about what you are trying to say. Because I don't.

Use your head for something other than to keep your ears apart.

Youre crushing idiots in this thread.

He only shot on reattacks from I recall. He didn't actually initiate the sequence.

Not true. Starocci had Ferrari's leg 3 times. Not all on re attacks either. Ferrari got stuffed on one half shot and one committed shot. Other than that he backed up, went to a knee, defended, or was on bottom.

He is very good, but lets not pretend he had Carter stalling when that is not true

Not underrating Ferrari.  He's a stud and is going to be really good but at no point in that match did he threaten Starocci.

At no point in that match did anyone even make a vague threat online. Yawn.

You are correct. He did take one shot that wasn't a reattack from the half shot or committed shot. I'm not saying that Starocci was stalling, but it was a pretty pathetic display overall. Is he really that nervous to take a risk and open up against a true freshman?

FYI - Brands said Arnold is the guy at 184, just on load management down the stretch.

It was a lazy and downright shameful match by Carter.  He deserves any and all criticism directed his way

1) vyvanse is what the real Rams take when they head East

2) Taylor was never on the market. He was always following the Sandersons ever since he was a kid. Fleetingly following Carl if you will

3) Iowa had the highest MFS Olympic medal this year soooo...

Let's just say this - your attempt to play a race card is directed at the wrong guy.

You seem to be in an overly emotional state - let's take this up again tomorrow if you're still fired up.

Perhaps we're not as sophisticated here at the College Wrestling forum as the folks over at the Non Wrestling Topics forum...:classic_dry:

Enjoyed the thread Boys. Cheers...✌️

Perhaps some posters here have been indulging in the top shelf spirits more tonight than usual. (As opposed to the lower shelf stuff some of the NWT folks tend to imbibe on a more regular basis.)

Doesn't really matter. We came together to have a good time. To quibble, to squawk, to piss, and to moan.

IMO, there isn't much more we can ask for than that. It's been a good night of wrestling.

There were no surprises in the dual.  One observation,  why does Beau Bartlett have to keep every match in suspense until the last minute. He will wrestle to a 3 point decision if he's wrestling #1 or number 230 ranked wrestlers.

The kid is a beast.  He and Haines have been with DT at MM for years. He should be the new #1.  His resume is as good or better than Shapiro's.

A new twist on the Fireman's Carry?  Kasak looks like a fireman carrying an injured guy out of a burning house and signaling to his family that he is safe.

I can't believe parco broke like that. He will never beat SVN.

Teemer will be fine, he just came back from a serious injury and was still in that match with a very good kasak.  He is still a title contender.

Messinbrink with an insane beat down of Caliendo. Caliendo saw that intense pace three times before and had a full year to prepare for it and yet somehow the gap got larger.  Who is a bigger lock to win ncaas this year, Gable or Messenbrink?

Ferrari looked good.  Like really really good!

Buchanan had a nice savvy vet win but I still feel like it's going to be hard for him to beat Barr two more times this year.

Penn State seems to have far superior conditioning up and down the lineup. What happened? Iowa used to be known for their pace

That's a really cute post.  Let's test your wrestling knowledge and tell me where Ferrari showed he can generate offense on Carter

As I said earlier he still had a ways to go, but 7:40 and 1:45 were probably closer than almost anyone has gotten to taking down Starocci, and both were off of Ferrari’s own shots.

Kinda makes sense TBH, he has a tough match Sunday with Smith, assuming he wrestles that one of course.

And here was Cael’s response on Davis:

If Kasak wrestles Teemer again he will widen the gap.

If Barr wrestles Buchanan again he will pass him.

Did Arnold delete his x account yesterday?

Here is the Iowa wrestling account tagging it (evidence it was his handle), and several folks tagged it last night criticizing him, but it no longer exists.  IIRC I believe he did quote one of the clips of his comments earlier in the week and wrote “see you soon”
