Mesenbrink has 100% bonus. The 83% is coming from the two forfeits.

Also Ramos should be on the list. Big Ten wrestler who’s 19-0 with 80% bonus. The Hodge should reward that type of activity.

100%

If Ramos is an undefeated national champion with a similar bonus come end of year he will have had one of the best seasons of anyone in the NCAA.

He just has no NCAA title already so he gets left off this convo.

This one is easy.  If Starocci wins it all he gets the Hodge

I’ve always found it silly that the Hodge takes into account previous accomplishments.

Career isn't a criteria.

If Steveson gets 100% bonus, including over the defending and undefeated (last year) champ, he probably gets it.

Unfortunately, Starocci isn't going to bonus PK unless he decks him.

Career isn't a criteria any more.

Not out of the realm of possibility but he'll get knocked down a bit on inactivity.  At this rate if he wrestles out the remaining schedule he goes into tournament season with only 11 matches

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Mesenbrink doesn't have the level of competition the others have. Steveson, Carter, KOT, Mendez would have the best wins imo

Steveson & KOT maybe not enough matches unless all others sustain a loss.

if Gable wrestles every available remaining duals + B1G's + NCAA's it will be 20 matches, fwiw.

O'Toole is currently 11-0 and it's not clear when he returns. He will have to go thru Hamiti (at B12's) and Levi again.

Starcocci or Messenbrink.
Henson is dinged up but has a very high BP rate at this point but it’d be hard to not give the nod to a Big wrestler with a higher rate

plus he (Henson) already has an OT win.

Unless it's changed and I missed it, KOT was only supposed to miss the remainder of January so he'd get Hamiti at the dual on 2/2 as well

Have Stevenson and Kerkvliet been relegated to "someone else?" I would think whoever wins between them would have a strong case. Win over an NCAA champion.  The only thing that could really eliminate them both is if they split.

I meant to add Gable in the poll, and I thought I had. I let “Someone Else” cover Kerk because Gable is a generational talent. In a normal year Kerk would be thick in the Hodge hunt.
