So it seem pretty likely that Ohio State just matched or upped whatever financial offer was mentioned by OKST?

My read as well.  May have all been a plan to get more money for himself, which is fine by me.

People regularly do that in every other sector, so good for him, if it worked.

I heard OkSt was just shy of six figures. Gotta assume Tom matched it.

Per year?  Or total?  This seems like peanuts compared to the slumlord’s offers

I'm sure this part may sound erroneous but someone in Stillwater has deep pockets and I was told it was someone in...ahem...Low Places.

Maybe $10,000 across 3 years?  5 figures is just shy of 6.  🙅‍♀️

Good on the athletes for getting paid, but this is all a side effect of the third party pay-for-play system we're operating in.  Contracts and salaries could fix this particular phenomenon.

Unfortunate reality of the new era that an athlete can effectively hold out at any time of their own choosing.

I could be wrong but I think the Flo guys said something about there being a question about whether wrestling in the All-Star might actually burn the redshirt

Yes, The Big 10 interpretation seemed to be the All-Star meet would count as a competition for the purpose of redshirting.

He gets most of his "intel" from reading boards such as this! Can you imagine thinking internet posters are reliable sources of info?

Say it ain't so ... I find you've ruined my faith in the Jimmy.

Willie is at best 10% correct.  Does that make Mineo 9%?  🤔
