I'll adjust my guarantee to be conditional upon: if the event takes place.  I was blown away by Barr's performance this weekend and in fact had predicted he would lose a decision to Beard.

How many times did AJ get majored true Fr year or when was the last time he got majored?  If the match were next week I'd be willing to bet a lifetime supply of cherry Pop-Tarts for winner or loser has to watch Unfrosted ten times in a row no breaks.  But alas ... I'm with H3 and don't think it'll ever happen.

We saw that Barr can hold his own against more physical opponents, but AJF is pretty strong if nothing else. I'd love to see Barr dominate the Focus, but I'm in the camp that he's better at 184 than 197. Need more data points to be convinced.

Didn’t he lose.  Then focus got the dq?   I don’t like Ferrari.  Nor am I defending him but I thought the match ended in theory before he went strait up dip shyte

AJF is a despicable human but he’s pretty damn good. Michael Beard is not on that level. Barr is going to be very good at 197 but better at 184; I think he’ll wrestle on Saturday morning this upcoming spring.

AJ is a one trick pony with relatively limited offense but outstanding defense. Also very good at getting away on bottom and keeping an opponent down on top. He’s incredibly strong and very fast.

I was actually hoping to see Brooks smash him last year but he got sent packing before that could happen.

I'm not getting this. Is the joke you don't think AJ Ferrari will Wrestle, so you're just talking about Angelo?

Because...it's tough to win a National Champ without Wrestling more than 2 matches against "average" competition. 

 

But I agree...Josh Barr will beat the 2021 National Champs...if he ever actually Wrestles him.

this ^^^ probably not exactly. 

Pretty sure AJ had more points at end but then the altercation resulting in DQ, not that he lost then started a fight resulting in DQ.  The DQ then became the official loss on record.
