I bet they make the top 5

I'm thinking this may be accurate.  I think its a tribute to Strittmatter and all of the UPJ alums in the area that have probably helped him.

Nolf recently did an interview with Bader where he was effusive about all the help he got from UPJ alums over the course of his pre-college career.  He really thinks highly of Coach Pecora and the program he ran.  I'm sure Bo feels similarly.

Totally, amazing on his parent’s part.   Blaze signs and there our post about him being second fidel to the other top recruits and this comes out is he signs at PSU.

this kid has an uphill battle to maturity

What are the odds he picks a school other than PSU, tOSU, Iowa, or OSU?

I think there is a real possibility he could pick some place like Rutgers.  I do not think, for once, that he is likely to go to Penn State because of the branding thing.  I think it ends up being one of the other three on your list.  Of course, betting against PSU in recruiting battles is typically a loser bet, so...

Different sports but with all the Rutgers chatter I think it is worth noting that they were able to sign the 2nd and 4th rated kids for the 2024 high school class in basketball. It would appear that they have some serious NIL money floating around somewhere. I'm not sure if that necessarily means it's there for wrestling but worth noting none the less. His cousin Mason is also a freshman there this year.

I'd also say Iowa is a pretty real possibility. I don't really see why it wouldn't be.

He can't go to PSU. That's dumb. Ohio State...if he keeps packing on the pounds and gets up to '57 would be the best IMO. The most entertaining. They have the talent to give PSU a run above and below...assuming Welsh, Feldman, Davino and those guys can all stay healthy. You'd think he'd be ready to go as a True Freshmen. I really don't mean it as a shot, but he's 19 right now, right? Unless they got the ages wrong on who's number 1, he's 19. So he REALLY should be ready to go as a Freshmen.

I am going to say final 3 ala Blaze and Purdue.

Rutgers is his last official visit...I think they will be top 3

Bassetts birthday is August, 2006 he is 18 I may lose my mind if I see his age mentioned again he will graduate at 19 turn 20 before his freshman year. Yes he is old but its not something that has not been done before and will be done again.

"Bo Bassett down to 13 schools and some posters are still claiming that Bassett is only 13 years old"

Did he win his first U6 state title at 13 years old ?

You might want to do a little research . He is 17. He wrestled U17 last year. That would mean he was 16.
