So far we have 20 predictions from this board, 14 from HVI, and 6 from GIA. Not really surprising that the HVI guys our more than twice as willing to make a prediction.

But what that really shows is it takes those two boards to equal our one.

Prodigal predictors come home. No questions asked. We will kill the fatted calf.

Since i'm jealous of PSU's success I tend to root for Iowa when these 2 match up. With that said, I think Iowas best chance at a win is 125. Really eager to see 165 and 184 if Arnold goes.

I think Penn St wins 9 matches to 1 (125)

I think the Glazier v. Brooks match is one that could be close.  Glazier is a guy who seems to have a good motor and he likes to score.  His best win is against Allred who has been quite underwhelming this year, but Glazier did look good in the match. I guess Friday night we will see just how good he is.

It won't be close, but I think there's a great shot for Glazier to keep it to a decision.  Brooks is just more athletic and more technical than Glazier, a tough combination to overcome unless you have some physicality/bully to you, which Glazier doesn't really wrestle that kind of bruising style.

Pyle also said on FRL he thinks we see Arnold at 184 if healthy.

They said “I don’t know why we wouldn’t see Arnold at all” but I can see saving him for Oklahoma State

My original prediction had Iowa only winning two but I now think either Messenbrink or Kasak get Carver'd and lose.

Can Arnold only go 1 more time?    I would really like to see him against Starocci after all of their trash talking but I doubt Iowa throws him out there at 174.

He has four competitions, but I don't know if he was attached at the Soldier Solute.

For example, Ryder Rogotzke had five competitions before his Michigan match, making Penn State his 7th... he was unattatched at Midlands, though.  Midlands and Solider Solute were the same days.

Edit: Meaning if he wasn't attached at Soldier Solute, then he has two left.  Penn State and Oklahoma State.

Yeah... Arnold has two to go.  Was unattached at the Soldier Solute.

I don't see it.  Regardless, you have to win the B1G tourney to get the #1 seed at NCAAs.   PSU doesn't strike me as a team that cares that much about winning the B1Gs or their seed.  It is all about NCAAs so unless they think facing Woods twice is better than three times (highly unlikely), ducking doesn't provide a benefit.

I’m sure ducking to face a brock hardy in the semis at big 10s vs Mendez is no big deal.

Duck city is cool for me but not for thee.
