It'll be competitive,  but not for Keckeisen. He's already put multiple spanks on Hidlay, and Romero will get so overwhelmed that he may just roll right over and quit.

It'll be a cakewalk for him.

Krek will be the favorite for sure….but “multiple spanks” is not how I would characterize an OT match.

Also wasn't the word out that Thicclay was sick or hurt enough he nearly didn't wrestle/finish NCAAs?

And he still gave Brooks his best match of the weekend.

Which was a refereeing travesty. If you back up out of bounds as a means of preventing a takedown, right from the whistle, that’s stalling. Over and over again.

I respect the hell out of Keckeisen, though. He comes to wrestle. He goes, all seven minutes. Not

The unfortunate thing is that I like watching Hidlay wrestle. Brooks is the only person he does that with, and I’m guessing there’s a very good reason why, but I’d like to watch him actually wrestle Brooks. From the center.

With world cup the following weekend I don't think we see Yianni

I agree. And I think we see Millner win this weight class.

I honestly believe it goes all the way back to their Fargo match. But Hidlay does live on the edges against comparable opponents that he doesn't overwhelm so it's not just Brooks, it's just that there aren't many NCAA opponents that can match his strength to motor him around.

i am an idiot on the internet

With a tournament style being a 2 hour weigh in, could this be the opportunity for Sasso to turn the ship? Seems the weight has been an issue for him thus far.

Would you be interested in a small wager.

FWIW, this is the wording used in a write-up about Cornell at the Lock Haven Open:

The rest of the lineup will ready for its final pre-finals competition when the big Red heads to Las Vegas for the Cliff Keen Invitatonal beginning on Friday, Dec. 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Oh, yeah. Played him like a fiddle.

Will Millner be #1 after the tournament?  🤔

I think him being ranked #4 is a joke, personally.  He should for sure be higher than Henson, but I would also argue he should be higher seed than Sasso. Sasso has lost to two true freshman this year. Are we going on history, or current?  Parco will beat Henson too....IF Yianni does not go, I am calling Parco vs Millner final. Millner wins it. 1) Millner, 2) Parco, 3) Sasso 4) Henson

I only learned one thing from my Dad and that was to never make bets you aren't certain to win.

Too many variables there,  but I'd certainly bet on the dates that the tournament will run.

Well if following your dad's advice you'd never bet, you seem to be willing to ignore his advise.  😉
