Any ideas what this means for his WWE career?

I agree with “yawn” as far as the NCAA season goes, but maybe this makes it more likely he competes internationally again?

Poor Hendrickson, Cassioppi, Davison, and Elam.

At least Kerk and Schultzy have another year - should they choose.

I agree the dramatic in/out game is terribly annoying, but this outcome is best imo. It is good for wrestling when Gable Stevenson is wrestling.

I guess so.. I was hoping to watch the great American hero run around the arena at NCAA's waving an American flag.

Good year for some Olympic shirts.  Most of those guys are eligible except for Wyatt (USAFA). (Cass obviously needs reinstatement and does Elam's World junior medal from 2018 count for this cycle?)

I think they have to be a past champ?

So Rocky Elam - yes... Zach Elam - no.

Edit: Now I have a cramp in my brain thinking about this.  I might be wrong.  It might be medalist.  I know to qualify for OTT you can be a past Age level champ, right?

I'm pretty sure medalists are eligible for ORS, but not sure if this includes medalists from the last cycle.

Remember discussion as to whether Nagao would ORS at PSU?  They were put to rest with "No, that's only for medalists... Nagao placed 5th"

This is all so confusing. Is Gable returning or not?

Likewise:

we talking Gable, he is old but Tommie's not winning any NCs and didn't show for last/first dual so ... or

we talking Stevenson, his return for board discussion & hype would be great and believe he still has 4 years eligibility.

I'm calling shenanigans. This is a social experiment by @Husker_Du and methinks he is getting exactly the results he expected. We are all just pawns on his board of checkers.

i am an idiot on the internet

I will probably never understand why Gable went through qualifying for Worlds only to skip it and then come back to win an NCAA title.

I'm still wondering, where are the shoes?  If he can't find em will this be just like worlds?
