DT lauding Bernie.

It’ll be interesting to see to see what he’s picked up at Penn State.

He’s going to win a national championship. Anyone who thought otherwise as soon as he announced he was going there hasn’t been paying attention.

Parker is a damn good wrestler, with excellent coaches and he’ll have a strong say in that.

11-0.

Brutality on the mat. Mehki looked not so hot health wise after that match.

He has been holding his knee since I saw him at the ACC tourney last season, maybe before.  IOt is nothing new.

As far as Starocci, that is the best that I have ever seen him look by a wide margin.  I have not been a fan of the matches throughout his career where he has seemingly coasted despite his immense ability; nor have I been a fan of his mouth and keyboard (at times).  However, he looked like the best wrestler in the nation tonight.  Brooks hasn't been up yet, but I can't imagine a better performance over an opponent with the accolades of Lewis.  Well done.

74 Kg Olympic team may still be a bit of a stretch, especially with his size and the timing of the OTT.

Why? The only thing he has said in this thread is that Carter is a punk and that Lewis does nothing but try to score. Where are the falsehoods? Carter has said some real dumb stuff and Lewis really does do nothing on the mat against good competition.

I don't cheer for Carter but I have to get him credit. He actually came to wrestle and he wrestled damn good.

Edit: Ah, I realize you were probably referring to the stalling thread. Fair. I think it's undeniable that Carter was very, ahem, strategic his first 2 years in college. As I wrote in that thread, he is much, much more aggressive nowadays (generally).

Starocci is the biggest staller for as dominant as he is, it's ridiculous.

Just like Heil, when they changed the danger zone rules, if they change the top stalling rules this offseason he will take some losses next year.

I Don't Agree With What I Posted

Period 2

Lots of blood time at the end of period 1 / beginning 2

PK starts on bottom. Out in seconds and hunting the reversal. Truax again heads for the OB. 3-2.

More blood.

PK forward BT back. BT threatens the swing single, but can't finish.

PK on the leg, shelved. On the OB line and loses it. Stall on BT after a ref conference.

More blood. Coming form the back of BT head, behind the head gear. Those PK snap downs are real.

PK shooting and getting stuffed. Ends 3-2 BT.

Period 3

PK riding. BT out quickly. 4-2 BT.

PK again on the leg. Again shelved. Again OB.

PK driving BT and earns the stall. 4-3 BT.

PK wants it and forces another stall. 4-4.

PK on both legs at the edge. Gets the TD with a toe just in. 7-4 PK. PSU challenges. Doesn't look good for BT.

Locked hands gets BT a point. 7-5 final Keckeisen.

I laughed at the stalling thread before, but I am really laughing at it now.

Calling @nhs67

Amazing performance by Sta(l)rocci.

He keeps it up and I will have to remove the (l) altogether.

HFS that was impressive.
