How we feeling about Dake v Sidikov?

I give slight edge to Sidikov due to Dake looking even more out of form than him. Hope I’m wrong.

I could be off base here, but it feels like Dake always does just enough to win, and sidakov has been so clutch in short time. I don’t see how Dake beats him.

As awful as everyone seems to think Dake looks, he is in the finals (again) and did so out of a bracket that was supposed to be brutal. He’ll be well rested and ready to go tomorrow. Should be a great one.

And with 10hrs after weigh-in won't include 4 matches.

The 74 bracket blew up so bad. Hoping the same happens for Lee, Gomez, Seabass, Finesilver, and Realbuto tomorrow.

According to this UWW tweet, Sidakov qualified “AIN” for the Olympics. Is that correct? Are Russia and Belarus separate AINs or does AIN only get one slot per weight? The whole thing stinks.

Didn't he get teched like 2 years ago?

Yep, I should have extended to say “for an entire tourney.” He got his ass whooped at his own game by Kadi in Tokyo.

The 86kg entry for Greece is the Russian who smoked DT with a heel to the chin a couple years back in a worlds quarter or semi.

No he isn't.  Kurugliev is injured isn't he?

I posted that before I looked at the brackets. I know Kurugliev transferred but he isn’t wrestling at Worlds. Injured? Not eligible yet?

Either way, if he’s healthy, he’ll be the 86kg for Greece next year.
