I’ve learned to avoid clicking on them. Many popular tweets are flooded with auto-generated comments, memes, or keyword related off-topic stuff. It's annoying. I don't scroll past these comments, rather go to the next tweet. I follow enough people to keep my overall feed is pretty balanced. I’ve noticed that lately, the comment sections on left-leaning posts are not as toxic as they were on Twitter. It was soo toxic and frequent a few years ago I don't even know if there are more bots or not. Twitter used to be less appealing than hot dog water.
