Doublehalf Posted September 26 Posted September 26 I'll be honest, I've been kind of a Bo hater but Everytime I see him wrestle he seems to clean it up more and more while keeping the pace at 100. It will be interesting for sure to see how he does at Worlds. I'd love to see a match between him and Tevanyan if for nothing else- to see how much Bo would irritate him... Also- how fast would he gas Musakaev??
LJB Posted September 26 Posted September 26 ^^ This is the real impressive thing… Bo really is getting better each time he wrestles… that is so rare… he did not snap Real once in two matches and still maintained his hand fight pace without over committing going forward… even in his U20 finals he snapped the Japanese kid into his legs twice but got away with it… his scrambling is getting better… He still gives up too many points and that may bite him at seniors, but, him medaling would not surprise anyone at this point… he is just increasingly difficult not too like… I am glad I gave up trying not to after the open… 2

de4856 Posted September 26 Posted September 26 My thought is that Real just wasn’t in the shape he needed to be in to counter Bo’s withering attacks. I don’t know what kind of training and prep Real had been doing leading up to this, but perhaps the lack of live competition might have been a factor. Now I’m sure that Real had live go’s and simulated matches, but it didn’t look that it was enough. There is also the question is that did Real’s injury hamper his training and performance. Or Bo, is just that guy right now
