A lot of logical points can be made for Stanich but I can't pick against Bo. Excited to watch Bo in folkstyle which I actually think is his better style historically.

Imagine how well Bo would be performing if he didn’t do body weight workouts 5 days before competition.

Bo returns from Kazakhstan less than a week from the dual and Stanich could just decide he doesn't need to wrestle him twice in a month

That was poorly worded - I don't know specifically if he is cleared just basing it off of hearsay. If that's true and he could wrestle earlier that would be the only thing I can think of to complain about but I still don't view it as a big deal

It's mildly annoying as a fan knowing Real's pushing this well past what he actually needs. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter at all Bo is on the U20 and U23 team he'd be training anyways. He's also the last person to complain about it. If it were a veteran guy who was really particular about training cycles at a later stage in their career we'd maybe have something to talk about

Is there a benefit to deferring a year now that nobody is getting RS's? If you're good enough to start wouldn't it be best to just wrestle 4 and then if you want transfer once for grad school?

I find it hard to believe the best of the best athletes are paying that. The worst part is the kids that are paying that are the ones that aren't filling the majority of their national rosters.

Nininger registered at 74kg for U23's. A lot of optimism out of Blacksburg on him taking the 165 spot. Would make sense why they didn't push harder for a 165 in the portal.

Wasn't really a money issue, Bassett's could've paid for it, they've paid plenty over the years for training opportunities out of pocket. Bo wanted open access to come to the RTC whenever and a set place to sleep. Brands didn't want to accommodate that and allegedly the disagreement escalated. Pretty sure Bo crashes on Caleb's couch when he comes to Blacksburg as of now, we don't pay anything for him to come down and it's just additional training partners so we view it as a positive when they want to come down.

VT board says the donation was initially going to be a match up to $1M but the Jesters just donated it instead of waiting so they changed the match into a campaign. Regarding Bo - what a horrible kid off the mat who isn’t a great role model for younger kids and can only beat kids he’s older than and totally didn’t dominate his age group division at the US Open teching his way through the bracket like 5 minutes ago.
