Less than 4 months between giving birth and WTT. It's a small 8 person bracket. Maybe that's a factor. Now Worlds is 9 months out from her giving birth. That's more reasonable. And dealing with some serious family drama...

Incredible amount of stress she is under right now I am sure. For those unaware, her father in law was arrested. Seems almost certain he is going to prison.
bnwtwg Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Zain is registered, will be interesting to see what kind of shape he is in. i am an idiot on the internet
SplitTheG Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Predictions (obviously depends how the brackets are setup): 57kg -> Spencer Lee over Anthony Knox 61kg -> Jax Forrest over Ben Davino 70kg -> Zain Retherford over Alec Pantaleo 74kg -> PJ Duke over Jayden James 125kg -> Mason Parris over Greg Kerkvliet
LJB Posted May 13 Posted May 13 https://www.usabracketing.com/events/44afbce4-4f20-4eec-b161-41dd2f0b8a0b brackets will be released after weigh ins are completed... typically no earlier than an hour before competition... sometimes 5 minutes before... i feel like this type of info should be a sticky on the forum as the same questions are asked for every USAW and UWW event... 3

ScottishSteel Posted May 14 Posted May 14 I didn't know what Jayden James v Mikey Caliendo was going to look like but this was not one of the possibilities I had in my head 1 Irrationally proud former WPIAL wrestler No Scotland, No Party . . . Go Beavs
Gantry Posted May 14 Posted May 14 These HS kids are so freaking good now, Caliendo couldn't finish despite multiple attacks. 2
Le duke Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Caliendo looked like he enjoyed his post-NCAAs break a bit too much.
Le duke Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Why do these guys let Merrill use his headgear? It's obvious what he's doing here. 2
