Meh.  I see no reason for that.  You are just making weights that are already weak even weaker.  The current weights don't pose any obstacle to guys competing internationally.

I see no reason to let six 149 pounder take up roster space when there could be a varsity space. And they don't even have domestic aspirations, much less international.

Isn’t the USA like the top 1 or 2 team medal wise over the last 10 or so years… maybe more 2 than 1 but we sure as shit dominate on the world stage

Folkstyle rules though. Freestyle is sort of trash.  Americans don’t care about it.  
 

We should concentrate on folkstyle … we dominate freestyle while doing so anyhow
