  1. How convenient that you left out of my quote "whether or not you agree with what he says". Whatever makes you feel better dude, have a nice day.
  2. I saw this video scrolling facebook, didn't even realize it was him until I read the caption. Very difficult watch, but also pretty inspiring.
  3. Dude, you asked a question, and then got all hell bent with the answers you got, still trying to stretch out the bickering, by ‘equating’ what BigBrog says on a wrestling board participated in by about ten people with a dude running for a elected office, saying he on Twitter he wants to see people shooting ICE agents dead…..ironically or not ironically a few days before a group of ICE agents were ambushed. You keep bringing up his only 500 followers. Ever heard of “word of mouth”? Ever heard of this new cool social media feature where posts can be shared? Do you think BigBrog’s comment here is being shared by his big group of followers on social media? And actually, I said you should care about city council. You then rephrased your “rhetorical question”, and I said yes we should be concerned when people call for LEO to be shot dead because of the influence social media posts can have. It is a general statement. You put quote around the guy’s name, even though I have never once mentioned his name. This isn’t going for you the way you hope it’s going for you. Just stop. Or don’t. Up to you.
  4. Ahhhh. In that case my bad.
  5. Had this playing throughout the day yesterday. Really interesting stuff.
  6. Not to be argumentative on this one, but Charlie Kirk talks about his religion all the time. His faith is very much at the foundation of his beliefs and he’s not at all shy about it. He’s a pretty good listen, whether you agree with all he says or not.
  7. He says in response And when you have to bring that back in, it says volumes about you, and doesn’t get to me like you hope it would. Behave a little better today little fella and you might get your ice cream cone.
  8. This is nothing but TDS. You forgot the rules.
  9. Come on man. You not only literally rephrased your question when you got the first answer, but also took the time to look him up. It wasn’t rhetorical, it was an attempt to downplay. Why can’t it just be a terrible thing to do, instead of mimicking the same brush aside people on the other side of your stances do? Which goes to the question I asked you…and it wasn’t rhetorical.
  10. Hey man, you asked the question. I’m not sure why you’d ask the question if you’re just going to dunk on those taking the time to give you an answer. Yea, they’re people on the right who will try to brush away and minimize really bad things done by those on the right. Just like there are people on the left will do the same. (There’s a pretty good example of that in this thread). Which part of it do you want to be on? Now that’s an interesting question.
  11. Well, I mean, you are taking the time to continue to comment and look him up. But I will ask in response, do you believe people broadcasting ideas on social media, regardless of their background, can influence others who read those ideas? Particularly others who may not be so sound and stable in mental health? And do you care about LEO being killed in the field, regardless of whether or not you agree with their orders?
  12. Actually yes you should care about candidates for city council. City council is going to have a bigger impact on your everyday life than a president.
  13. You’re still bothered. You’ll be okay little fella.
  14. Sounds like he could have used you on his defense team, maybe you should apply.
  15. It’s not the age so much as the speedo, so I would say I’m more of a speedo-ist. But look, if trying to use that to compare to a policy of racial housing discrimination, to explain away the actions and be more comfortable with it, you’re welcome to it. I guess another one of those instances of choosing to view from a chosen lens.
  16. Don't disagree with the premise, but the testimony from the employees in that particular case do not jive with that. Nor does the testimony from employees in the separate casino case. Further, whether or not I want to see an old dude in a speedo is a non-factor, being that the old dude in the speedo is not submitting an application to me to live next door. I have zero say in whether or not he moves in next door. If I don't want to see that, I have the option to move out.
  17. Someone is still spazzing and still can't comprehend what they are reading.
  18. Your bolded part was me referring to your response to me this morning, not your responses to me yesterday before everything seemingly came about being offended and due to feels. In your responses to me this morning you addressed nothing in the points I made, other than claiming that you laughed at the LA Clippers example because you agreed with it, but instead open some can of worms about being offended and all up in feelings. Housing discrimination due to race is not a lens I 'choose' to view anything, it is recognizing the fact, that he was found liable for it, and then repeated the practice after being liable for it, and it is just one example of racism. Recognizing comments and actions from someone is not choosing to view through a chosen lens, it is simple recognition. In fact I would argue denying it happened or pretending like it didn't happen is exactly that....viewing through a chosen lens. If you don't agree with that, so be it.
  19. I read it, I'm not sure your point in telling me to re-read it.
  20. You will have to be more specific, I responded to more than one post here to you and others. What are you saying still holds true?
  21. How was I not civil? I am not sure how you took that as being offended. I didn't call any names, I didn't get personal. You opened the door with people "like you", so I walked through that door and responded to it. And certainly didn't say anything about 'getting into your feels'. I think it goes to show that I am "equal opportunity" as you stated, but whether or not you like what I am saying dictates where you are going to claim my comments come from. You have nothing to say about the points I was making, but are instead responding with 'feels' and being offended at a different perspective. Maybe take a look in the mirror? Or not. Whatever works for you.
  22. The video is worthless. You can’t even see his cell. You can only see a small section of a path to walk to his cell. Never mind there is mysteriously an entire minute cut out of the video. This is classic stuff, much like the ‘magic bullet’. Just throw it out there and say it’s proof. Doesn’t matter that it’s not at all proof, as long as it can’t be 100% cut and dry disproven (although the ‘magic bullet’ pretty much can), just throw it out there and let it be another grand American conspiracy mystery. All of the players will go unharmed. What’s sad is this deals with kids. One man is dead, a woman is in prison for the rest of her life. But “well, nothing to see here”. And the media isn’t even supposed to ask about it anymore.
