  1. You have it all wrong, I don't dislike do-gooders at all. I would like to see more do-gooders around here. Narcissism on the other hand .....
  2. Ummmmm....I have, in an ongoing conversation with uncle b and 103......including in the very post you quoted, of which I was clearly siding with you. Are you okay??
  3. @Caveira didn't imply anything. His original post was very direct. Regardless of his following he is a candidate. He did not say he was a major candidate, in fact he didn't even include that he was a candidate in one of Texas' most major cities. Saying San Antonio is 'some random city' is not a very good thing for you to say when you are trying to argue someone is trying to imply something. Lastly he even ended his original post with "is this guy for real". Pretty much that exact opposite of trying to imply he is a major figure. You have certainly jumped on an outrage train, when if you didn't feel you needed to be concerned with this, you could have just easily moved on to the next thread, without having to rephrase questions when you don't like the answer, without taking the time to look the guy up so you can find a reason to disregard his comments. But outrage seems to be your chosen path here, and for that, as I said in my response to you in the other thread you me to on this, is something for you to take some self inventory. Carry on with the last word, if you must.
  4. You gotta go through multiple threads to carry on the same conversation day after day? Sheez. I will respond to the responses you have on this and the other thread, and then consider it enough said on my end. If you feel the need to get the last word, or carry on day after day, thread after thread, you are welcome to. The first thing I will respond to here is your insistence that the number of followers from the commentators is the bigger concern than the comments made. Regardless how many followers, it only takes one, or a handful, as we have seen time and time and time again. If you think stating that "24 years ago NYC was attacked by Muslims, and now a Muslim socialist is a candidate for mayor of NYC" (that's what Kirk said) is worse than stating "I want to see a few ICE agents dead, don't let me down" (what Guana said), and then try to focus on number of followers to brush it aside.....you may want to do a little self inventory. As for the date of the ambush and the "hypthetical blame"....there is no hypothetical blame about it. My post clearly said 'ironically or not ironically' because we do not know if there was any influence. Secondly, I had my attacks mixed up, and for that I will own, it was an attack on a border patrol station, also in Texas, that took place the day Guana posted that. That's my bad. The other thing I will own is that I got you and 1032004 mixed up (can't imagine why). It was you that asked a question you apparently didn't want to hear the answers to, not them. Again, that is my bad.
  5. How convenient that you left out of my quote "whether or not you agree with what he says". Whatever makes you feel better dude, have a nice day.
  6. I saw this video scrolling facebook, didn't even realize it was him until I read the caption. Very difficult watch, but also pretty inspiring.
  7. Dude, you asked a question, and then got all hell bent with the answers you got, still trying to stretch out the bickering, by ‘equating’ what BigBrog says on a wrestling board participated in by about ten people with a dude running for a elected office, saying he on Twitter he wants to see people shooting ICE agents dead…..ironically or not ironically a few days before a group of ICE agents were ambushed. You keep bringing up his only 500 followers. Ever heard of “word of mouth”? Ever heard of this new cool social media feature where posts can be shared? Do you think BigBrog’s comment here is being shared by his big group of followers on social media? And actually, I said you should care about city council. You then rephrased your “rhetorical question”, and I said yes we should be concerned when people call for LEO to be shot dead because of the influence social media posts can have. It is a general statement. You put quote around the guy’s name, even though I have never once mentioned his name. This isn’t going for you the way you hope it’s going for you. Just stop. Or don’t. Up to you.
  8. Ahhhh. In that case my bad.
  9. Had this playing throughout the day yesterday. Really interesting stuff.
  10. Not to be argumentative on this one, but Charlie Kirk talks about his religion all the time. His faith is very much at the foundation of his beliefs and he’s not at all shy about it. He’s a pretty good listen, whether you agree with all he says or not.
  11. He says in response And when you have to bring that back in, it says volumes about you, and doesn’t get to me like you hope it would. Behave a little better today little fella and you might get your ice cream cone.
  12. This is nothing but TDS. You forgot the rules.
  13. Come on man. You not only literally rephrased your question when you got the first answer, but also took the time to look him up. It wasn’t rhetorical, it was an attempt to downplay. Why can’t it just be a terrible thing to do, instead of mimicking the same brush aside people on the other side of your stances do? Which goes to the question I asked you…and it wasn’t rhetorical.
  14. Hey man, you asked the question. I’m not sure why you’d ask the question if you’re just going to dunk on those taking the time to give you an answer. Yea, they’re people on the right who will try to brush away and minimize really bad things done by those on the right. Just like there are people on the left will do the same. (There’s a pretty good example of that in this thread). Which part of it do you want to be on? Now that’s an interesting question.
  15. Well, I mean, you are taking the time to continue to comment and look him up. But I will ask in response, do you believe people broadcasting ideas on social media, regardless of their background, can influence others who read those ideas? Particularly others who may not be so sound and stable in mental health? And do you care about LEO being killed in the field, regardless of whether or not you agree with their orders?
  16. Actually yes you should care about candidates for city council. City council is going to have a bigger impact on your everyday life than a president.
  17. You’re still bothered. You’ll be okay little fella.
  18. Sounds like he could have used you on his defense team, maybe you should apply.
  19. It’s not the age so much as the speedo, so I would say I’m more of a speedo-ist. But look, if trying to use that to compare to a policy of racial housing discrimination, to explain away the actions and be more comfortable with it, you’re welcome to it. I guess another one of those instances of choosing to view from a chosen lens.
  20. Don't disagree with the premise, but the testimony from the employees in that particular case do not jive with that. Nor does the testimony from employees in the separate casino case. Further, whether or not I want to see an old dude in a speedo is a non-factor, being that the old dude in the speedo is not submitting an application to me to live next door. I have zero say in whether or not he moves in next door. If I don't want to see that, I have the option to move out.
  21. Someone is still spazzing and still can't comprehend what they are reading.
