Latest updates are tightening up the tracks on us. Right now calling for an upper level cat 3, some models higher. I got 2+ cans of propane, 3 bags of charcoal, water, gas shitload of canned foods and moving the bbq pit into the garage, set up and ready for post storm. Looks like no matter what it’s going to be a ride this week. I’ll be good here. I’m about 12 feet above the water, my house locks up real tight and I got a brand new roof from Ian. Gitty up.

FEMA is going to be spending money on Americans, and American cities for at least the next five years. I wish people would put as much effort into understanding these things as they do pushing their warm fuzzie political angles. Imagine how much greater America could be if we took that mentality (although I get it, it requires effort and self reflection)

You tried a gotcha moment, yet you didnt read past the click bait, because you got caught admitting all politicians who lie regardless of party should be called out yet you fail tremendously in practicing that belief. It is a matter of process, they come in the first few days to help with the immediate needs, then they let the state and local do their thing, then they come back in to assist with assessments and reimbursements. It is all part of the process of these things (including the $750 everyone is sensationalizing for political purposes. I got $750 quickly when my house was badly damaged in Ian 2022, I got $750 with Irma when I lost almost everything in 2017. the 750 is not Kamala, just like this timing and process in not Johnson and congress. There are processes, and compartmentalization, to these things.

I would imagine their expectation is not at all a total ban, but you start there at the negotiating table and work back to what you're comfortable with. It appears they agreed on tentative deal for wages, $4 raise every year the next six years, and are going back to work tomorrow. Haven't seen anything regarding the pension plan and automation.

Well, the context of our conversation, which you referenced in your initial post here, was politicians lying. I asked you to direct me to where people claimed Trump said it, I didn’t say no one said it, I said I hadn’t seen that and asked you to direct me to where you read people claiming that was Trumps statement, you chose not to. In fact you’re still choosing not to. Ross came in with people on Twitter projecting.

That’s valid.

You are not very good at comprehending, and simply sticking with, what someone is saying. Let me try to clear it up for you one last time. I am not commenting on whether or not the bill is good. I am not commenting on whether or not Trump killed the bill. I did not state, that Trump killed the bill. I am stating that Republican senators came out and said he killed the bill. is that clear? Conversations go a lot better when you stick with what the person is actually saying, instead of trying to formulate something else.
