  1. Well so much for “too big to rig,” I guess
  2. lol this guy is on fire
  3. It seems that a main goal of the tariffs is to “bring American jobs back.” But unemployment had been pretty low, that’s one of the few things Republicans couldn’t really rag on Biden about, so basically Trump is trying to fix an issue that isn’t really broken (and could get worse depending on how the tariffs effect employers). The main thing they could rag on Biden about was inflation, but tariffs are only going to make that worse. Even if they do actually “bring American jobs back,” it’s a lot more expensive to produce stuff in America, yet in most cases if it’s even possible to produce here (which isn’t always true), it will probably still be cheaper to keep producing it overseas but it will just cost consumers more. I think even a lot of Republicans thought Trump was bluffing about tariffs. Or at minimum didn’t think he’d go to this extreme. But of course people are now afraid to criticize him. Doing a quick search on x, even co-President Musk seems to be ignoring this topic. His only post with the word tariff or tariffs since 2021 was one a few weeks ago where he pointed out that Tesla is impacted by the tariffs.
  4. Doing some googling this seems like a good summary overall: https://www.avemarialaw.edu/house-settlement/ It does seem odd that it apparently doesn’t address Title IX. And here is something from a couple days ago from our friends at Flo: https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/14039570-how-will-ncaa-revenue-sharing-affect-college-wrestling
  5. The presentation was given prior to the Wisconsin Supreme Court election. Not sure exactly but I think the goal was to sell the mission of DOGE and voting for the conservative judge would have assisted in that
  6. The PSU forum is still the same as always…lots of people saying “trust in Cael” or assuming Rocco wasn’t offered any money. Even some of the ones claiming to know inside info made vague comments like “Welsh had no NIL demands.” That doesn’t mean he wasn’t offered something that he didn’t “demand.” Also it was funny to me to see people knocking Ryder by bringing up Facundo. But assuming Facundo gets a medical, he won’t have even lost any eligibility due to being on the bench.
  7. He probably did reach out to PSU first. But some booster probably also offered him something before he was in the portal. But yes, we don’t really know anything for sure.
  8. That’s what I thought you’d say. Too bad it’s a lie. Those numbers were referring to legal immigrants under the Enumeration beyond Entry program, which was started under Trump. But don’t take my word for it, here’s Antonio himself. Sorry, you fell for propaganda.
  9. Here’s one to add for tariff hypocrisy. I like this game
  10. I assume he means someone offered Welsh money in order to take his talents to State College. Given the suddenness of him going in the portal then credible sources saying he was going to PSU. Legal, but “almost definitely” true
  11. This was the first thing I thought of
  12. Wait was his surgery really announced by his mom? Iowa really likes having their parents make statements for them huh
  13. That’d be interesting if AJ considering both AJ & Terukina have had off the mat issues. I guess Koll thinks he can rehab them
  14. Also, are we completely ruling out the chance that Ryder stays at PSU if they up his dollar amount?
  15. So he’s saying he spoke with Ryder’s family, which is weird to start with IMO. But if that’s true, it could have been a biased perspective. Also could be the truth, I don’t think we really know.
  16. Other car companies? Last I read the car market has slowed (likely in part due to concerns about the economy)
  17. Well you said “wrestlers,” not starters.
  18. So you are saying there was no inclination that Ryder might transfer prior to the talks with Welsh?
