  1. Not only is it extremely hard, it’s impossible. In Romans chapters 1–3 God (through the Apostle Paul - side note: all scripture is the inspired word of God, no matter who the author is) is building his case against the 3 groups of humanity - the immoral person, the moral person and the religious person. It’s really interesting and reads almost like a court case. What is the conclusion? Romans 3:10 “as it is written, There is none righteous, no not one” Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” Being in sin = death. Thankfully, we have an advocate in the Lord Jesus Christ Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” When we have faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ - we are saved. Nothing less, nothing more. When we have faith in the gospel we experience God’s saving grace. 1 Cor 15:1-4 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

  3. Give chuck another chance. Maybe not a great cut or something got slightly goofed up... I have done dozen and they are super tasty.
  4. West Texas perhaps for 0% slope? There are legends of west Texas being so flat that you can see cars headlights coming your way from miles upon miles away.
  5. Since the creation of the world? Yes. It, however, has not changed in the last ~2000 years. God has had different administrations, or dispensations, for how he has dealt with people throughout history. The way which is person is saved today, is not the same as it was under the law of Moses. In the times of the law of Moses, the way to salvation was faith plus works (keeping the law). Today, in the age of grace, the way to salvation is to have faith in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Nothing more, nothing less. Once a person puts their faith in the finished work of the cross, their salvation is immediately sealed (Ephesians 1:13).
  6. I think it's a question for everyone, the spiritual and the un-spiritual, the religious and the atheist.. Where are we headed after this life and how will we get there?
  7. What's your take Ban?
  8. It usually takes around 5 hours.
  9. When my dad and I were looking over NCAA brackets last year we were a bit struck at the depth in each weight class. Might be recency bias but there were a lot of hammers last year.
  10. We have plenty of political topics on here so lets start a topic on salvation. How do you think a person experiences salvation today? I have my thoughts, but curious to hear what you all think. God's peace and grace to all of you. Let this be a fruitful and respectful conversation.
  11. Toxic masculinity, creationist, patriot
  12. How am I not surprised that Ban is also anti-farming???
  13. What is troubling to you about ethanol?
  14. The majority of field corn is used for livestock feed & ethanol production - over 60%. The remaining corn is used in food production (corn syrup, corn flakes, corn starch, etc), exported overseas, used in manufacturing or carried over in surplus.
  15. News used to be just presenting information and not an opinion piece. Everything now is an opinion piece.
  16. 74kg for freestyle not 174lb for folk... 74kg = 163lbs
  17. Field corn also gets fed to livestock, which we eat with smiles on our faces
  18. That’s a possibility but he still got smashed in that match.
  19. Askren said Mirasola’s are going to be 197/hwt and I’m not convinced either has proven to be a better prospect that Barr up to this point. Facundo will be in the mix at 174 presumably. Sealy did not look like a very big 160 at WNO last week so I think he probably projects in at 157 unless he hits a growth spurt
  20. Golf is soccer with a smaller ball and you use a modified hockey sick but you hit the ball into a small hole in the ground instead of a net.
  21. Barr's path to starting is much more straightforward than the middle weights. Starocci has two years available but has yet to determine is he is going to use them. Truax is a stopgap for this year only. So Barr could slide in at 174 after this year for Starocci or grow into 184. Barr was a top 10 P4P recruit.
  22. I agree that is sometimes the only logical thing to do but in a lot of cases unions are encouraging dairies to dump to protect the price. Unions suck.
  23. Milk for sure
  24. I'm not so sure that it is directly US gov related and more related to the unions that the food processors belong to. They will do anything to "protect the price of their product". So if there is over production, rather than momentarily lower the price, they will dispose of the product and the union will pay for it.
  25. If I remember correctly, Bailey O'Reilly used to wake up early before school and do chores on his family dairy farm. Bailey was from Minnesota, which borders Canada.
