  1. What happens if a U20 champ has to a wrestle a U23 champ? Is the tiebreaker whoever has a 40+ Veteran's champ on staff?
  2. I take an Acetyl/L-Carnitine/Alpha Lipoic acid every morning. They were on much heavier items than L-Carn such as Goucher's cytomel (thyroid med used to lose weight post-partum). https://www.bbc.com/sport/athletics/49853029
  3. https://www.google.com/search?q=nike+oregon+project+doping Channel your inner Aaron Rodgers: do a basic google search, consider it critical thinking, create the results you would like to arrive at.
  4. First 7 time national champ in the cards???
  5. This is exactly why I've brought it up quite a few times recently. It is a strong achievement that deserves to be highlighted.
  6. UNC, while a step below Stanford, is considered a "public Ivy" and has a very strong pedigree Woods finished his Stanford degree in three years with an academic overload because they cut the program. Anyone from those Stanford classes should be given a very big, very fair asterisk given the circumstances surrounding the program.
  7. This was always the inevitable outcome. First time working with a board of directors? Ask Toys-R-Us how it goes when you can still run a good business but you are straddled with corporate raiders. Then tell me with a straight face that the NCAA hasn’t been a longtail a 1:1 comparison.
  8. This isn’t the Iran or Cox threads. 21 pages later
  9. The moment it becomes minor league football the shine is removed. Forever. And they know it.
  10. Which is why, once again, there should be death to the NCAA. Adopt the Euro sports academy model.
  11. Those higher education admin salaries aren't going to pay themselves. Athletics departments are an effect, not a cause.
  12. The difference between Russia and USA steroids is the same as the economy: In Russia, everything in a person's day-to-day life is state-mandated. In America, everything in a person's day-to-day life is mandated by privatized companies. Both have athletes are that running hot. It's just a difference of how they arrive at the same endpoint. I previously used the Nike Oregon Project as an example. Sure, it wasn't state mandated but if you were anyone who wanted to be someone in track & field or distance running then you were at NOP and if they told you to put something in your body then you did it no questions asked. Just a difference of the mechanisms of capitalism versus authoritarian socialism.
  13. Back when men were men and people actually attended tournaments like Farrell to knock others out and didn’t withdraw if they were sent to the consis.
  14. Ummmm... how does your wife know how big NHS's is?
  15. At least your company is not cheap and doesn't force you into PowerBI or Domo. Or SAS if you're an ancient actuary...
  16. I like to think of it like the Righteous Gemstones: Brooks is Eli and AJ is Baby Billy. Both are full of shit and will end up on infomercials.
  17. Russia out, AINal in
  18. He's had 23 years to figure that out and the only thing he learned was a head pinch. He has always been dependent upon being bigger and stronger than his opponents but now that everyone is an adult the field has caught up. Having the largest neck and skull only goes so far. I stand by my opinion that he wouldn't finish higher than 8th and may likely not place if he switched to FS.
  19. I don't write him off for the lack of FS exposure. I write him off because Parris, Hendrickson, Davison, and Kerkvliet are grown-ass men now and would run a chugga chugga choo choo train double through the big boy. Stalling is not allowed in FS like it is in folk.
  20. If he switches to freestyle then he would just be Dom Bradley 2.0 so he should stick with greco and very seriously consider training outside of the US.
  21. So hear me out on this… if you give asterisk and extrapolate the last 5/10/15/20 years on top of the all time result wouldn’t that deliver a desired result from the recent results populus? It’s going to help some programs (such as SDSU and Rutgers and maybe ND), while also heavily devestating historical programs that have recently dipped (Oklahoma as a potential example). But it delivers the recency bias that the inevitable 57 pages of homer posts will ask for. It’s almost like you expect people to *read* for the me-now internet slurpers
  22. The fragmentation won't be that bad so not sure how you would end up overbalkanizing? You're describing a limited scenario for anything 16 seed and under. My shocking hypothesis is that that Cael*/ PSU run will throw out the weirdest curve.
