I don't understand the Eggum hate. He delivers multiple AAs on an annual basis, graduates his student-athletes, has a strong donor base, and his team keeps their names out of the beat report. And as previously mentioned, he kept an Olympic champ and Hodge winner at home.

NCAA, ESPN extend broadcast deal 8 more years (including wrestling)

Honestly, ESPN coverage of NCAAs has been top notch the past few years whether it be the primetime broadcasts of the evening sessions on multiple ESPN channels or using the ESPN app. Since I can't attend anymore unless I want to give up something else, setting up four smart TVs and a laptop for "work" has been awesome. It is honestly my favorite viewing experience each year. -

There was a national champ with no more eligibility that enjoyed a Bud Light last year after he won NCAAs and that picture circulated and certainly made the tabloid rounds. And to think those were the "good" days of wrestling papparazzi
