  1. Now do the most affluential SV personalities. You know, the Thiels, Musks, Zucks, Balmers, Benioffs of the world. Gates is the outlier.
  2. Once in '68, then five times in a row during a best of "two" in '70. Sometimes it's better to be the Chixculub Asteroid destroying the world once than an ice age that is long-term damage that can be sustained occasionally. But it won't get you on the Top 5 overall list.

  4. If you think Silicon Valley is liberal then I bet you would be interested in my recent bridge property for sale...
  5. The person who claimed he's a flat earther ALSO believes the earth is flat and the edges are surrounded by ads that lock out the screen just sayin
  6. It is a strategic advantage in my particular position, and I would recommend others do the same. It's long term versus short term. I recognize not everyone can withstand the pain like I could if they lost their job today, but the gains are worth the short sacrifice.
  7. Totally fine because proper form goes a long way. I'm down ~20 mpw from before because life but still putting in 2500+ miles annually and do a couple Pfitz 18/86 each year because I wanted to remind me that I hate myself
  8. Yeah he probably would have beat Cardenas but lost to Buchanan. But that's why they wrestle the matches!
  9. 4th grade 120 pounds 9th 171 10th 275 weighing about 200 11th 215 12th 215 RS and RsFR 197 Finished in the dancing bear weight class, was able to "bulk" up to 248 for a single day. Not fun do not recommend. I'm currently training for another Boston Marathon where I'm hoping to stay under 2:47 and this morning was 188.6 two weeks out going into taper madness. Pre-race double dinner and morning liquids for the late start should get me up to around 202-4 at the line in Hopkinton.
  10. Not sure what employer doesn't match based on schedule unless it's a mom & pop that can't afford it, which I have a large number of reasons to avoid. I frontload mine every year now. It's a big game sales hunter approach - no paycheck for a minute at the beginning of the year, but I get it over with and then the match happens and then every two weeks is smooth sailing. If I'm a loser in the Game Of Thrones then I at least have some extra bonus money down the road that I would not have seen if I went equal throughout the year.
  11. The irony of Dake choosing to compete in a full tournament and then be well-rested for the best of three at a later date is certainly something. It's apples to oranges for WTT vs Final X procedures, but nonetheless the irony is still worthy of a hearty chuckle
  12. Stevan Micic, the Amine boys, Finesilver, and Austin Gomez laughed at my joke so I'll take the dub
  13. He's from Jersey so I think it's pretty self-explanatory that he will be wrestling for Italy on the senior level
  14. Parris wrestling in Paris was CIA levels of international deep state infiltration
  15. Elam to Michigan makes no sense because he has no international ties going back at least seven generations. Bormet pinches his nose if he even thinks of someone trying to make a US team instead of finding a new passport.
  16. Old head Bobby Douglas may disagree with your opinion. Only beat Gable six times so maybe not the best example idk. But it's fair to say that Gable had a very, very dominantly impressive peak for a very, very short duration.
  17. He has a snap and go, an ankle pick, a high-c to single, blast double, elbow shrug, and even a strong sprawl that he generates points from. His front head series is his primary second period setup in matches against high-talent opponents. If you are insinuating that he learns how to pass the legs then you've got him there because he's never going to be long enough at 97 for that to be effective at the world level. I guess he could start throwing cement mixers but with Hall in Oklahoma now I'm not sure who's going to teach him that technique.
  18. One of my favorite matches ever was the shootout for world gold between Otoguro and Bajrang. Not even the Bajrang Boys could stop the offensive onslaught that day.
  19. No one has used basic since 2012. I call shenanigans.
  20. I know a lot of gym light inspectors who dress like that
  21. Not having enough fun. It's why he stomped Taylor's toe.
  22. I'm very uneducated on this particular point so could someone ELI5 please. Why would a small school choose not to opt in to the revenue sharing model? What are the advantages and disadvantages as it relates to small schools
  23. Yazdani was the heavy favorite going into the gold medal match against either guy on the other side of his bracket. Then he tore his shoulder. Injuries suck.
  24. You see the broader point I'm trying to make though, right?
