  1. I have been leary from the moment we found out it was double shoulder surgery.
  2. Snyder's visa plot has paid off as he is back in the world finals. Rematch of last year's bronze. Can't believe Taz went down. He has looked mortal today for the first time in years.
  3. 2-2 Taz 2:27. Snyder up 7-0 1:08
  4. This ref REALLY sucks.
  5. This ref already sucks.
  6. This has always been one of my favorite interviews, but this hits different today. Hayden Hidlay must be a very proud brother.
  7. Dominate? Have you checked the projected team score this year? Do not confuse our renaissance generation for historical results. They won a SINGLE team title with all pistons firing. ONE. You are a fool.
  8. Why is everyone, including myself earlier this morning ("he will put up points but not a concern"), discounting Haruntunyan? He has a track record of bringing it and lights up the scoreboard. Yeah we all, myself loudest, thought Spencer Lee = Gold or bust. But everyone runs into a buzzsaw. Micic in 23 is a prime example. It happens and worlds is 10x tougher than olympics because the brackets are absolutely nails. I do think a change of scenery would be not bad, but Iowa would be petty as $hit about it after he signed his competitive life over to them. I also think that Bob can't buy the partners he needs, which is why he should leave. His coaching is not the issue.
  9. It's not going to get overturned. The precedent has consistently been to avoid Kolat-esque post-match experiences. This did not go our way in a very crappy manner, but overall UWW has been a significant step up from FILA in pretty much every facet including sketchy match endings being finalized with a winner getting their hand raised on the mat. The only circumstance I can recall was the blatant, proven sham reffing at 2024 Euro olympic qualifier.
  10. Not sure if you're paying attention but the grim reaper is knocking on the door like a Yonger Bastida meme.
  11. Oh no, much worse. Just like every post of mine.
  12. I have the perfect joke that will *instantly* get me sent to the zoo
  13. Because the focus is on freestyle and not wrestling 100+ matches every year from the age of 5 on. Everyone has realized that 4x folkstyle champs are myeh on the biggest stages domestically and internationally. Even Willie pointed out how devalued high school pinnacle achievement are if you have any semblance of a bigger goal.
  14. In a way, it's his fault entirely. His achievements will last for many decades, if not centuries. His family will feel otherwise. What do a Russian Tank, a Tazmanian Devil, and Snyder's Hog have in common? He was never able to overcome what they desired most.
  15. It's going to be a big hill, and following Burroughs and Snyder in particular is a trap from our renaissance generation. Aughts: " We hope we can get multiple medals!" Early JB/ Varner: "We are here to win some belts." Peak: "We are here to win every weight, the team title, and show everyone we are the best beginning to end." I think we are in really good position. The only gaps, which I would have not predicted 39 months ago, is 97 and 125. I thought Trumble would take a leap after OTT and we don't know how to feel about Brooks at best. And Steveson was HEW. I'm more iffy on 125, but 57-92 is locked down and 97 is going to be a contender through this quad at minimum. Haines is a revelation so far at 79 where I think he is stuck unfortunately. We are solid.
  16. *Jax 3rd and I'll die on this hill
  17. Snyder prefers for it to be hard. Even willing to pay, oops I mean say, that's fine!
  18. OkSt to get right mentally with Taylor and have a mentor/mentee relationship with Jax. Fix can stick around, and RBY will be mutually beneficial. THIS IS HOW WE DESTROY PENN STATE PEOPLE
  19. We all know I'm a big fan of the US latter
  20. Snyder makes finals, or Snyder bbq's for all the quick visit jokes. Decisions, decisions...
  21. No because Zahid was a, in the words of Martin Garrix, mf'in animal
  22. I don't believe anything Brooks says, given his proven lack of honesty. Zahid was a kilo under at 86 in 2023 according to his words out of his mouth at 2:10 and 89 kilos/195 lbs when he won WTT 92kg. Can't believe I'm saying this but I'll trust the guy suspended for fun drugs.
  23. Carl has proven time and again to handle this well. And a guy like Rocco Welsh transferring, supposedly of his own volition, and plainly saying "my goal is to be the best in the country, so if I can't even earn a starting spot then how can I say I'm the best?" speaks volumes to the room and culture at PSU/NLWC. We can all hate all we want, but cannot deny the obvious.
  24. Confirmed that Zahid was an animal this weekend. And appreciate the nerd assist!
  25. David Taylor owns 86 and he warged into Zahid's body if we are being honest
