I wonder what would happen if they just waited for the numbers to update before releasing them.

Ronnie Ramirez was always a guy I was super high on but I just thought he was too big to hold 125 so I did not really see how he got in the lineup for Oklahoma state. Now after he beat Zhou its pretty apparent he is improving rapidly (lost to Knox 14-4 and Mauger 5-3 at the open) and now you have yet another piece in what is a log jam. I do think however the raneys will be able to redshirt and the olympic redshirt. That one gives them a lot of time to grow but also could allow you to let sergio go right away at 141 and then 149 once Jax gets there and have used 3 years of eligiblity before the Raneys even go. That would also allow Ronnie 2 years at 133, I think the main goal has to be to keep all those guys there as long as possible just so they can train with each other.

A few will likely grow but I don't see any getting bigger than 174, so likely just growing from one crowded weight into another crowded weight.

I don't think guys leaving will ultimately effect OSU much. They will each likely give it 2 or 3 years of attempting to make the starting line-up and transfer for their last year or two of eligibility if that's what they want to do. The guys on the roster will still have plenty of training partners on the college roster and with the cowboy RTC to where training shouldn't take a hit. OKST will massively benefit from all of these guys knowing that their spot isn't guaranteed and knowing they can't take a day, or a match off.

No one is really sure.

Everyone else is top 5 in their weight class. Other than Vllasenor they are all in the classes of '25 or '26. Even with selective redshirting some very good wrestlers will never start and could be third string.

Suriano didn't wrestle until second semester beginning January 9. Lee wrestled three matches that season and the last was 12/21. I believe Spencer Lee was not scared of Suriano considering he beat him for an NCAA title already and just needed to fix his 16 torn ACLs

If there is more money floating around (via higher minimum wage) what happens to the price of commodities and housing? They charge what the market will bear, so their prices increase. So the effect of a min wage increase to provide a living wage is now in a position to be raised again because prices quickly rise and the effect is lost. And round and round we go. Why is minimum wage supposed to be a living wage? Minimum wage jobs are entry level jobs and really are meant for teens and first time job seekers. They are not usually in a position to be living on their own, it is giving them experience working and taking orders and doing what the boss wants them to do. After that they get better jobs where they do more and make more. It makes more sense to have roommates so that the living cost is reduced. The higher min wage laws also reduce hours for many of the workers that are left because the restaurant owners, in this case, can't afford and the public are not willing to pay the higher prices. So the business goes down and not as many workers are needed. Eventually automation makes more sense and then the jobs are lost. How does any of this help anyone? mspart
