I'll owe you one if I'm wrong, but Caliendo is never going to beat Mesenbrink. Also, @ionel are you familiar with Messinbrink? Also, David Carr could easily have been a 4x champion. He was a #1 seed that suffered a massive upset in the R16, and he lost in the finals to KOT after he had beat him twice that season. David Carr and Mikey Caliendo is a ridiculous comparison. Caliendo is an absolute stud, but comparing him to Carr isn't fair.4 points

I’m taking Pendleton because I watched him dominant Askren time and time again. I know it’s crazy but I tend to think the better wrestler was the one who dominated the other.1 point

Rich man and poor man walk into a bar. They both buy a drink. Bar tender says that will be $3 each for the drink and $1 extra for taxes. Bar tender checks out the shoes of both men and discovers one man is wearing Gucci shoes and the other man is wearing @red vikingshoes. And says. Wait a minute here Sonny boy. You’re a poor poor geologist. You have to pay the taxes for both drinks ! Rich man smiles and says it’s good to be the king and kicks @red viking in the chin and spills his drink. he then walks off happily ever after.1 point

As part of a project to recreate all the tournament scores by building up for the individual match to the team total, it is obvious that there is a key missing component: team point deductions. So, now I am trying to back into them by assuming that any point total differential between my method and the publicly available scores is attributable to team point deductions (with a single caveat). Using that method I think there have been a total of 64 team points deducted in the 9 tournaments between 2016 and 2025. In three cases it looks like a team had 2 team point deductions in a single tournament. The ill-mannered 64 are (sorry about the rough formatting):1 point

Why watch that drivel when you can stream stuff you like to watch? If the drivel was good, they could compete, but they can't compete with the product they deliver. Anyone remember the Letterman and Joaquin interview that went off the rails? Now that was funny stuff. Johnny Carson and Don Rickles, or Robin Williams, or Rodney Dangerfield or a plethora of other funny funny people? Now you get Colbert and Schumer. Now that's a laugh a minute you betcha. mspart1 point

All your degree means is that you were able to memorize the material you were presented with. You have no idea whether that information was nonsense or not. Experience is the teacher. Geology is the degree you seek when you don’t have what it takes to be a real scientist.1 point

The left uses the environment as a means to push socialism. They don't give 2 squirts about the environment, just look at the aftermath of any leftist protest. Calling CO2 a dangerous gas is strictly for the purpose of control. Environmentalism was started by conservatives and high jacked by the left. If the left was concerned about the environment they would hold the dirtiest countries accountable instead kowtowing to China.0 points

We are basically living in the MAGA cancel culture world right now... everything that offends maga = cancelled. Bud-lite Drag shows Books NPR NFL Electric Vehicles Renewable Energy Big tech until big tech helps them and then big tech again Colbert The list goes on and on... For a group that is all pro-free speech and yada yada they are more heavily into cancel culture than the dems were. The recent south park episode while on brand for South Park- the parent company really allowed them go hard to essentially provide cover to the narrative that they are doing Trumps bidding to get a multi-billion dollar merger approved which happened a week later. I find it very hard to believe the Late show was the big thing holding up the deal from happening on the balance sheet.... For those that don't know companies have "loss leaders" or products that they sell at a loss for consumer interest and to upstream them to more products with greater profit margins. This is not a new concept and Colbert was no different.. people watch Colbert or subscribe to the streaming service to see his show and then watch other shows.0 points
