I'll owe you one if I'm wrong, but Caliendo is never going to beat Mesenbrink. Also, @ionel are you familiar with Messinbrink? Also, David Carr could easily have been a 4x champion. He was a #1 seed that suffered a massive upset in the R16, and he lost in the finals to KOT after he had beat him twice that season. David Carr and Mikey Caliendo is a ridiculous comparison. Caliendo is an absolute stud, but comparing him to Carr isn't fair.

I’m taking Pendleton because I watched him dominant Askren time and time again. I know it’s crazy but I tend to think the better wrestler was the one who dominated the other.

As part of a project to recreate all the tournament scores by building up for the individual match to the team total, it is obvious that there is a key missing component: team point deductions. So, now I am trying to back into them by assuming that any point total differential between my method and the publicly available scores is attributable to team point deductions (with a single caveat). Using that method I think there have been a total of 64 team points deducted in the 9 tournaments between 2016 and 2025. In three cases it looks like a team had 2 team point deductions in a single tournament. The ill-mannered 64 are (sorry about the rough formatting):

For a group that is all pro-free speech and yada yada they are more heavily into cancel culture than the dems were. The recent south park episode while on brand for South Park- the parent company really allowed them go hard to essentially provide cover to the narrative that they are doing Trumps bidding to get a multi-billion dollar merger approved which happened a week later. I find it very hard to believe the Late show was the big thing holding up the deal from happening on the balance sheet.... For those that don't know companies have "loss leaders" or products that they sell at a loss for consumer interest and to upstream them to more products with greater profit margins. This is not a new concept and Colbert was no different.. people watch Colbert or subscribe to the streaming service to see his show and then watch other shows.
