I am a PSU fan, but I am done with the PSU athletes trying to tell us about religion. And when they say that "none of this matters," then why are we watching?4 points

Should we really have to hear your beliefs? We want to post about wrestling not hear what you believe.4 points

Folks, there's a Starocci thread to discuss this on if you could be so kind. Nice OT win for Rocco Welsh over Kennedy, future is bright for that kid.4 points

I'm glad Cael will finally have talented wrestlers to work with, unlike the putzes he's had up to this point.4 points

As an aside -- my living room right now is an audio battle between Big 12s and the Oscars / Ryan Gosling singing "I'm just Ken"3 points

Greco is two guys pretending their T-Rexs, bumping chests, and playing “legs are made of lava”. Then a ref makes one lay down and act like a starfish, then they stand up and bump chests again. Can’t believe the USA doesn’t like it.3 points

In Lewan's defense, he did way more than usual. I still feel like it was more window dressing than actual attacks, but have to acknowledge it.3 points

Carter can be a bit of a drama queen. This whole tweet will turn into a backstory for him to tell in a documentary about how he had to overcome blah blah blah and then after consulting with some of his closest friends in family he blah blah blah'd decided to wrestle at NCAA's3 points
-
As lame as it is to watch him, lack of offense doesn't equal stalling. He's basically waiting for re-attacks and sound defense. Kyle Dake may be a 4xer, but he wasn't really lighting up scoreboards when in college. By no means am I saying this guy is at Dake's level, but my point is sometimes winning is more than flashy offense. He's a 7seed in thr finals at the B10 Tourney. His NCAA seed is going to be good no matter his match today.3 points

I’ll admit I was trolling @BigRedFan a bit by asking if Cornell cares about their athletes (but the Shapiro situation really wasn’t a good look - I know a nearly 26 year old world champion is a little different). But I do feel strongly he should have defaulted if they thought it was serious.3 points

That’s a great question. Kennedy was dead to rights about 4 times in that sequence and even looked like he lost the whizzer and sparks just needed to cut the corner at one point and instead decided to shelf the leg2 points

That was the best match comeback I have seen this year. My blood is pumping.2 points

About time someone wiped that stupid smirk off of Barflett's face. I don't hate Bartlett. He seems like a fine kid. I just abhor his wrestling2 points

I got a Braille transcript of Will Lewan’s season. It’s a smooth piece of computer paper.2 points

Spencer Lee shows up day 3 of nationals to support his teammates after med forfeiting and is accused of not being there to support his teammates. He still has his character called into question to this very day. Starocci goes home, doesn't support his team and basically quits in a twitter post. Translation: he's just rehabbing and they have better equipment at State College. He needs to get on that ASAP. The ice bags in College Park aren't good enough!2 points

I don't think @jajensen09 is anything like @Jimmy Cinnabon. JaJ believes what he says.2 points

It isn’t Sifu Lewan’s problem that the other guy won’t engage on his terms. I’d say based on the current results it is decidedly the other guy’s problem.2 points

This is a Skip Bayless type of take trying to go so far one way with a circumstance without leaving any room for an intelligent and nuanced conversation. maybe you should apply to be on their show as the wrestling guest commentator to throw out some incendiary opinions to get the people talking!2 points

I’m sure Tom Brands was working on his power point presentation last night about why Starocci shouldn’t get an at large2 points

Just watched the semis. I tried to a do a retro diary again, but honestly I'm exhausted and it wasn't that funny, I gave it up halfway through 133. Miscellaneous thoughts: Deaugustino must be a hypnotist, because he keeps tricking people into not shooting, while he also doesn't shoot. Just drags everybody into the muck with him, a damned Slop Sorceror. Teske was really trying to prove how many times he could walk into the same shot, over and over. Mendez just out-physicaled Woods, another in a long line of 6th year guys who have regressed. Gomez wrestled sloppy as hell, if he does that against Lovett again, he might pin him, or he might lose....again. Haines looked two weight classes bigger than Franek. Huge AND a huge gas tank to boot. Hard to see anybody beating him. I again reiterate my fervent wish that Mesenbrink wrestled for my team. Kennedy wrestled well, Griffith reverted back to his superfrustrating form where he does nothing from neutral. Hope the injury isn't serious, though. Pinto wrestled very stupidly. That said, the Nebraska singlets in the semis with the script "Huskers" were FIRE. Glazier again comes through in the clutch for Iowa. Great story, has probably earned himself a 7ish seed. I didn't watch heavyweight.2 points
