Maybe that means Ridge is headed to NC State along with Dailey 😉

Can he make 184? He’s absolutely jacked at 197, I thought it was obvious the move would be to heavyweight?

Still a lot of hope for a guy was at D3 but never completed a D1 or D2 season

Any indication where Massoma Endene might be headed?     Has he at least narrowed his choices or set up a visit or two?

It’s not Mizzou as we had hoped. Who it is, still up in the air.

Please don’t reply to him directly.  I am a Husker guy and cannot stand his insufferable dragging down threads.  Thanks in advance:)

much upside but obvious risk

Iowa could get him to a very high podium finish on the back of a, something like, 10 match season or

he could unfortunately suffer his 4th major injury in 5 years prior to the post season

the detractors will b*tch either way

What’s to detract from? This is a fantastic pickup. Sure, he may need an extra year to get healthy, but Crookham is incredibly talented. He is the only guy in the country who can give the 4 killer freshman 133lbers a run for their money. I’ll be rooting hard for him to get healthy. Kudos to Iowa for getting this deal done.

What?  @jajensen09 is solid, man.  Passionate,  sure.  Not a turdbiscuit like many others on here.

The other brother wrestles for Purdue - so maybe they weren't intending on being at the same college anyway since they had already been split up.

Well that is their older brother.  Luke and Max are twins and committed to Michigan State at the same time.

Zepeda to Michigan has been a done deal for a long time. Worst kept secret any place.

Per FRL, he just had a great visit to Iowa and it is between Michigan and Iowa.

I think the point that he was making, they prolly paid a pretty penny for him, and he is proven to be a heath concern. You spend that much money, you want a guy that is going to be reliable.  Nothing personal, I think everyone would agree he is a stud.

Creating a price war, maybe?

That would be my guess.  I would predict Michigan as well, but ruling Iowa out in this scenario seems silly given their willingness to spend, and nobody forced Zepeda to go to Iowa City or to say the choices were down to two, plus that one poster was obnoxious.  Things change.

Garvin to Michigan was a done deal last summer: didnt happen.  Endene to Iowa State this year was a done deal from the moment the Iowa thing fell apart, but now it seems like it's not happening.  Again, things change once the guys start hearing offers/looking at other wrestlers movements.

As to Iowa's 149/157 recruits, those guys aren't on campus for 2 years,  plus the possibility of a redshirt.  Much less of a logjam.

But they do still have Block, VV, and Estrada, definitely less backed up than Michigan but still guys at the weight. there are other schools with much more open spots for him

If Zepeda comes in,  he's immediately the presumptive starter at one of the weights, Block at the other.

VV and Estrada are backups.  I think he chooses Iowa.......  It's a risky pickup though. Just had ACL surgery.

And that’s the same case for Michigan, regardless of what Catrabone did or Lemley, I would take Zepeda over both. 10/10

No way I'd take Zepeda over Catrabone
