With Milani and Ferrera coming back, and both Cortez brothers coming in, there isn't a lot of room at the Lightweight Inn next year.

Of course, guys like Ungar and Greg D will have graduated (I think) by next year, so Cornell is out in any case.

Greg D could have another year if he wants it.  Last season he didn't wrestle past November and probably could get a medical.

He should go to Binghamton

I would expect Clayton Whiting to hit the portal, unless Max McEnelly moves up to 197 as Gavin Nelson had a rough end to the season. The Gophers lineup would probably be better with Whiting at 184 as he had success at 184 at Missouri.

Masoma Endene

Jordan Williams

Endene for sure.

Williams perhaps (though maybe not)

I think Nick Fine from Columbia will have exhausted his Ivy eligibility after this year, but will have another year of NCAA eligibility.  2X NCAA qualifier should find a home.  If there is any room down in Blacksburg, I think Tanelli (who was the one that recruited him to Columbia) could be on the phone

Interesting to see what happens to all the CBU guys

So far Kalob Ybarra (incoming ranked HS - Colorado) Oregon State and I think that  Vanderheiden ended up at Wisconsin (Wisconsin State champ and Fargo champ).

What does this mean? Does it mean he went to summer school and graduated in 3 yrs?

He was a student for one of the years in which he didn't wrestle beyond first semester which would grant him a possible medical redshirt if he were to have some medical grounds to pursue it (most wrestlers do - even when they are active...)

With Knox going to Rutgers wouldn't be surprised if Smith enters the portal. Think Smith is too small for 133 and can't imagine him sitting for 3 years.

It has begun...

Iowa does not have a beginning or ending date for the portal...it's one continuous recruiting season for Bob.

Isn’t Knox a 133 or is he leaving Stanford as a 133 pounder because he can’t beat Provo?

Anthony Knox and Tyler Knox are two different people…
