Government is either beyond incompetent or they are in on it

Welfare Queen was the fraud of the 70's.  Now, of course, the fraud is committed by the "provider" rather than the actual person on the dole.

But the problem is more foundational. Thd federal government should not be involved in welfare, medical payments, or insurance schemes of any kind.  It also should not be involved in any individual transfer payments.  None are called for in the Constitution.  Maybe individual states could have their own systems and fight fraud locally but the national government is way out of its lane doing this stuff and has been for 90 years.

Our lefties rarely chime in about fraud do they.  They denied it    Some said don’t investigate it cause there wasn’t. enough evidence.  Good time lol… but tax me more cause the gov is broke

This isn’t a news report of “I think there is fraud”…. People are getting arrested and convicted every day.   Some white lady 41 years yesterday in MN for stealing a crap load of $$$ as part of these same fraudulent transactions.   To lazy to look it up now.

@red viking if you don’t ever look into fraud you’ll never find it will ya…. If she did something they should still charge her wouldn’t you agree?   Resigning isn’t enough

U.S. Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) Has Resigned from Congress

The Florida Democrat, who represented the heavily blue 20th District (Broward and Palm Beach counties), submitted her resignation on April 21, 2026, effective immediately.

She stepped down just minutes before a scheduled House Ethics Committee hearing that was widely expected to recommend sanctions — including possible expulsion — amid allegations of ethics violations and misuse of campaign funds tied to ongoing federal investigations.

In her statement, Cherfilus-McCormick called the process a “witch hunt” and said she was resigning to focus on her constituents.

A special election is now underway to fill the vacancy in this strongly Democratic seat.

41 years seems light.  Less than a year for every $6 million stolen.

Where's the money?  She can't have eaten $250 million worth of caviar and lobster. Sell everything she bought.  Get back everything she gave to others.

And, of course, fire everyone involved with touching the money she stole - especially the inspectors general and executive bureaucrats at the state and federal levels.

41 years is a long time considering there was no violence involved.  Federal time is a lot harder to pare via appeals and good behavior and such.  She acted as the ringleader, there have been some sixty or seventy others convicted and pled guilty of fraud along with her.  Some money has been recovered but not much.  It seems a good deal of it went to a small east African country.

Minnesota tried stopping their payments but they got sued, the judge said they should restart the payments then Jim Jordan lied about how it went down.

I’m not, I’m saying Minnesota tried to stop it earlier.

Scott Bessent just announced the Internal Revenue Service is launching MASSIVE AUDITS of financial institutions that facilitated the laundering of Minnesota funds.

Read that again.

Banks. MSBs. Financial middlemen.
Anyone who helped move dirty money is about to get TORCHED.

For once, the IRS is being deployed FOR AMERICANS FIRST — not against working families.

Follow the money.
Audit everything.
Prosecute whoever broke the law.

Music to my ears.
Thank you, Sec. Bessent. 🇺🇸

FOLLOW ME, THE NEXT DROP WILL BE SHOCKING

They keep finding fraud.  Crazy

10 years for $48mn?  Seems light.  Let's say the dude's time is worth $20/hour.  Shucks, we can give him a 20% raise to $24/hr.  $48k per year.  Then when he works off $48 million at $48k per year he can go.  That sounds more rational to me.

How about the 1.7B fraud move made by the White House...

More fraud than everything on this post combined by x1,000 times.

And no discussion or debate, it happened right in front of all of us. Done by White House insiders.

The White House is doing a master class on how to defraud US citizens.

All while so many of you bitch up and down about the peanuts that may or may not actually be fraud.

You folks have got this upside down - the Trump admin is all about actually committing fraud, while projecting 'fraud' onto all of Trump's political adversaries.

Some of the dimmer bulbs are buying into it. But, as they say, you can't fix stupid.
