Did Smith hear the whistles to wrestle?

Because he didn't do anything.

Not shocked.  He always wrestled close with Kasak at 141.  OT  and lost close to SVN.  I could see him AA.

He's the Bearclaw of this year.

I was hoping Chochran would take the same route and AA elsewhere, too.

Felt like Garvin was fading there just bad match tactics in that last 20 seconds or so by Brignola.

Some Hunter Garvin trivia.

With two more sixth or eighth place finishes he can tie the all time record for loses at the NCAA tournament in just four years. The current record holder, Kyle Parco, needed five years to set the record.

Ryder looked very powerful. He’s a hammer.

I forgot Smith use to wrestle 197. Looked bigger but got horsed around the entire match.

That's the kind of record I don't think you really want.

Kind of like leading your team in escape points.

I have heard rumors that Ech is older than his reported age as well.

perhaps the Campbell orange just accentuated the figure a bit better but I don not remember Ghadiali sporting a belly.

That new headgear is kicking St. John's arse.

To be fair, the CK headgear is an absolute bitch to size right lol. Once I got mine right, I was always grateful to never touch it again. I'd mess with it for 20-30 minutes to get it just right.

I'm sure you listened, but I know on FRL he talked about how he was 230 last year and got up to 280 this offseason before getting to his current weight of 260.

Yes and no. You do need to be a four time AA to pull it off.

I actually missed that but that would explain it. He seems sorta fatigued given the break and the fact that he has really not done anything so far it may take him some time to adjust to the bigger frame.

I think challenge bricks need to start being a point. Yolo challenging locked hands and getting a free reset feels like it should be punished.

I think it should be the same as an injury timeout. Lost challenge = opponents choice of position. There should be a repercussion of challenging a call and being proven incorrect.

Last match was a 24 year old against a 26 year old.

This one is a 25 year old against a 24 year old.

Last match will have a 26 year old.

Enjoyed the event! I need help in my argument that girls wrestling is the fastest growing sport in the U.S. as Burroughs stated it in the broadcast. I repeated it and got into an assertive discussion. His counter argument is that its not event the fastest growing girls sport in High School. Just want some data by smarter people than me, so I don't have to concede to this high school girls flag football father. If I am wrong than I'll take it and try harder to grow women's wrestling with my daughter. Thanks!
