Isn't it only the matches that are wrestled in your true freshman year representing your five free dates are counted on the official record? Are all redshirt results now on the official record or just those five?

Ah, yeah I see now.  Blaze, Duke, and Haines accounted for 7 of them alone.  I misspoke.  Should have said 15/30 weights for MFS.

Haha there ya go. I have it on good authority that Snyder wasn't invited to the All Star Classic this year though. 

Of the ten PSU guys at various Worlds, seven are starters (Mesenbrink, Haines, Barr, Lilledahl, Blaze, Welch, Mirasola), two are non-starters (Henckel and Mirasola), and one is unclear (Duke). Three of those guys are ranked Top 2 in their weight class. 

So that leaves Van Ness and Kasak who turned down the All Star Classic but weren't competing in freestyle. Kasak makes sense if he knows he's redshirting or if he's preparing to defend his starting spot. Not sure why SVN wouldn't want to go.

I think if you have the singlet on and the program provides coaching etc, it counts.

I was unfamiliar w/ Lange but I've seen the McBryde sisters wrestle a handful of times (mostly previous All-Star's); I was surprised how dominant that was
