It would be interesting to weight the rankings over a longer period of time and graph the results to see if or how watered down the event is becoming.   I feel like it was a ton of 1 v 2 back in the day but feelings aren’t data.   Is there a data store that has historic all star info including ranks?   I found a list of all the results going back to the 60s or 70s but it did not include ranks.
