Antonio Mills has had a really strong freestyle season, and has continued it with this Fargo run. He was ranked #14 at 126 in April and has moved up to #4. I'm curious to see if he can compete with Raney.

He’s a Mizzou recruit, after flipping from VTech. Between mills, Mendoza, Walker and Mauger I love the depth of our 125-141.

Antonio Mills had an incredible summer, cool to see him get a stop sign. Hoping to see him at S32 and I bet we do because he's already a southern kid

Mills made finals at S32 last year knocking off Joey Bachmann.

lost in the finals to Christian Castillo who is now at ISU.

So it is safe to say OkSt had the best Fargo? I was impressed by Ziola who is committed to Nebraska. He looked pretty big. Does he go 197 at Nebraska I guess with Ferrari at 285lbs even though I think Ziola is bigger that he is. Nebraska could challenge PSU in a couple years? Wishful thinking but it is looking very appealing place to go for the #1 guys. Add Burroughs then boom!

All solid dudes, be interesting to see if one of them grows substantially to fill out 149.

Ziola is going to RS at Nebraska next season and will wrestle HWT from day 1 on campus.

I would say so, but Mizzou did have two incoming recruits win Jr Free championships in Mills and Gleason. Was hoping to see Mendoza, Rath and Bambinelli but no such luck.

Does anyone know the relationship between Jackson Thorn and the former gopher's Thorns? He goes to the same high school they went to, so I'm assuming he's a son/nephew of theirs?

Jackson is Mike Thorn's son. (Mike being the oldest of the Mike, David, and Tommy trio.)

Is this the last one or are there more coming?

He is the first of the 3rd generation.  Grandfather John wrestled at Iowa State and his 3 boys were the Gophers.

Hopefully he has some younger brothers/cousins coming up as well!

I wonder why Raney went up a weight class for Greco?

I would venture to guess Flo wants to make him vs Bo at whos'1 at 144 so he probably does not want to cut he also needs to fill out for 149 in college. Honestly David probably is just telling him to get as big as he can.

I don't even think its that complicated. He probably just didn't want to make 138 so many times in a row. Wanted to eat good after winning fresstyle without worrying about weight. Lots of guys do it at Fargo

Idaho do you know Ryder Owen's (16u Fargo Champ in Greco) relation to the Owen family is?

Brian Owen’s (apostrophe S) son
Cam Jones’ kid won
As did Mocco’s (beating Josh Etu’s son)

Insert catchy tagline here.

I was curious if he was Brian's son. Brian graduated a year ahead of me in Washington. I remember him wrestling a tight match with J.O. in the Fargo finals.

Jason, I don't know how you have room in that brain of yours for all of the random wrestling facts you possess. Truly remarkable. Thanks for all that you do.
