This current class of wrestlers is the best the USA has ever produced by far as far as depth. And results to since around 2018 until now. In order to reach these kind of levels it takes living breathing everything wrestling all the time since you were like 5. It is making a lot of these kids weird and crazy.

Very unfair. Apologies. I just see it all the time all over the place. My best friends son decommited from a top D1 school. Every aspect of life was wrestling all the time. Then just pop! Carter was just a higher profile name. Nothing against him or his dad at all. Don't know them very well but saw them everywhere growing up. Didnt't mean to get off on mental health stuff. He won Ironman & National Preps pretty easily in 2024. He was very legit. Top recruit by Ohio State. Then left for UTC. Then he abruptly retires from wrestling after one week at practice last year at UTC. Is stuff like this common? Three schools in under 3 years. AJ gets a bad rap. Lots of kids doing this. Something got to change with this. If we hear about the top guys doing this imagine what the mid tier guys are doing.

Same with Haines. He is to small also but will be in his prime and with his skill he could be our rep. Zahid is perfect sized 86k. This matters internationally.

What he did last year was one of the best performances ever. After a long time to get there he probably celebrated for the first times in his life. I think he is our rep on 2028. Dake is to small and will be older.

I heard during a podcast that Snyder nearly went 11 years without a loss to an American at the senior level? That is mind boggling. They pulled together his record against Americans for like 12 years and it was like 155-2. Better than anyone they said in American history. They were like the guy right behind him is the only American to beat him in his prime. Jake "Boring" Varner! They were like if Snyder didn't show up Varner keeps wrestling. I don't hear much GOAT talk about Kyle but is he in the running for greatest American ever?

There is a good fit for everyone in this world. There has got to be somewhere. My sons are telling me MAC or EIWA. They are hitting him up and he is screwing with everyone just throwing school names out there. I mean 25 years old acting like he is 16. But we know it has to be a school that will take Anthony.

So if these rumors are true how can a MAC or EIWA school pay AJ? Rider, Lock Haven, Kent State or Bucknell, Lehigh or Long Island? None will pay him even a tenth of what he was getting at OkSt, Iowa, or Nebraska.

Maybe so on paper. But in this new age kids are athletes first and students 2nd. Unless you are at an elite school like an Ivy or service academy.
