Is Melvin Miller a Iowa lock?

His brother Bo is already committed to Iowa and his other brother Keegan is expected to be a Hawkeye too.  Melvin released a list of his top 8 schools today and obviously is included but so are some other powerhouse programs.

Is there a real recruiting race here or is Melvin a Iowa lock?

Weren't the three Ferrari bros a lock for Iowa as well as a team title?  What happened to AJ and Anthony?  Stuff happens.

Ok... what is his actual relation to the Bassetts? Is he a Cousin? I know they adopted him, but is this some blindside type thing where they did it so he could go to Bishop McCourt and train with them? 

 

I have no idea...I already thought he committed to Penn State because I saw someone say it and then ChatGTP said so as well. 

Also...is it possible Bo ends up being the 3rd best recruit from that house? Could be like the Ferrari's in that AJ and Angelo look like studs and maybe Keegan is the Anthony, but he seems like he's done a whole lot already.

How many of the 356 teams on Bo's list were really in the running?  He wants to keep options open and probably is curious about different schools, e.g. campus and facilities.  No one knows how long the real list is.   It could be three, or it could be just one.  Even if it is just one, there is no reason to commit now anyway.  Let's go with opening probabilities of 70/20/10, UI, OSU, PSU.
