Snyder has ownership stake in rudis as well and been there since the start for most part. Alot more personal type of situation here then your traditional athlete sponsor kick him to the curb.

They fire the founders of successful startups all the time.  He likely has a clause in his contact.   If they want to distance themselves from him they will.

I don't really know how it works -- you know this better than I do. I'm saying that for most of the country it's not a big deal, and we shouldn't hold wrestlers to higher standards than other athletes. The sport isn't big enough. For a good percentage of the the country's population this is a decriminalized act. Sure, places in the south and parts of Midwest this is a major crime (check out Louisiana!!!), but not most places. I'd hate to see his career end for this, as he's at the age where he's past prime and can't afford to take off. I'd like to see him back on the mat soon. The worst part for me was the conflict between this devout man and his real actions. But as far as I'm concerned, this is between him and his wife.

I'm not saying he will or won't be, but I am saying that just pointing out that the other 15 who were arrested were able to "go back to work," that doesn't mean that Snyder somehow is entitled to the same "rights" with regard to his employment.

USA Wrestling could suspend him...I don't know if they will.

I do know that...it's not legal in most parts of the Country. It's criminalized more in some than others, but mostly my point was when you have a high profile job, you're not subject to the same ramifications at that job as you would be if you were...an accountant, in waste management(unless it's "waste management," then it's a promotion probably)....in short, Snyder is and should be held to a higher standard as he's been given more responsibility.

I do believe the biggest issue is his wife and him. That's where I lost the most respect for Snyder. And if some moron comes in and takes that and runs with it being some tacit endorsement of child sex trafficking, that's on them. I really have little patience for the intellectually dishonest.

Seeking something out is not an argument against you being addicted. Addicts have to chase down a score all the time. Its often what theyll do to get it (engage in sex acts for drugs, or in this case pay for sex acts) that is the determining factor of if they are addictied. Addicts will ruin their life for a fix.

As for addiction being a disease thats. Different conversation and id say its not.

No, but seeking out sex in particular and then saying it's a disease or you have an addiction to sex is a lazy cop out...IMO.

I believe the biggest issue is between God and Snyder.  Then the Columbus Police Department followed by his wife, kids and immediate family.  Its not like he hooked up with some random woman. He tried to pick up a hooker.  And I'm certain it was his first time.

I don't believe so.  If you listen to the audio the cop said charges are most likely a charge and a day class to learn about the industry and its impact on the actual women.  If it was him seeking out a minor he'd be in serious trouble

No, nobody said anything about kids other than some idiot because I said I didn't buy that it was an addiction and I thought him cheating on his wife would be the most significant part of this. Then I got some houlier than tho nonsense about how most sex workers are children(not true) who are trafficked and...apparently my comments totally unrelated to that were offense to the guy who said he was "having a blast" talking about this for ~30 pages.

Just because stories are in the Bible doesn't mean it is condoned.  What he did is a sin.  It is not my nor your place to judge him.  It is up to his wife/family to forgive or not.  Not of our business.  And his final judgment will come from above.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait...

Was this girl he was meeting barely legal?

Why this talk about kiddos and pedo $hit?

There is no reason to believe that he sought out an underage girl. The problem is that he is signing up to hire someone that could be an underage victim of sex trafficking. It’s not like Kyle was going to ask the gal for her ID to validate her age and run a background check on her to make sure that she was not a victim of trafficking.

I cannot tell a lie. I cannot ask my wife for oral. I have once (maybe twice but the second had to be in jest) with no success. Woe is me. Did I just prostrate myself?

Is there something in that wedding cake?

I do not know what "FCA wrestling is." But...either way...sure, he let people down. I get that.

I do think it's a fringe minority of people who are victimizing Kyle, but that's an opinion, I know how you'd quantify that. The comments I saw seemed...pretty harsh...similar to this one.

I'm frankly unsure how he'd be the victim. The "his wife wasn't doing his job," is not a normal, common take and I'd not take it seriously. I think people often take the vocal minority and amplify them.

FCA is fellowship of Christian athletes. Snyder had a whole ministry to traveling to put on various camps that taught children how to live a God honoring life and teach them wrestling. Hence the hypocrisy.

Putin would never let this happen to sadulaev. And I doubt a real Christian family man like sadulaev would even want to partake in this debouchery, but Putin would provide any piece of ass he wanted on a golden platter. Same for yazdani and all the international stars by their government. As long as they win.

Kyle can't win right now on the mat and hasn't been for awhile.  It all starts right there and may have had a trickle down affect to his sex life.

I'm not sure we ever see him win again.

If you think Sadulaev is a Christian I have beachfront property in Missouri I'd like to sell you.

Billionaire's Cove in Lake of the Ozarks has some stunning property.

Craig Henning got screwed in the 2007 NCAA Finals.

I said beachfront, not lakefront.

Have you ever been to a beach on a lake?

Brother, the whole thing was a joke. I was more so commenting on the fact that Sadulaev is obviously a Muslim, not a Christian. I'm sorry you missed this.

Exactly. This is why people are reacting.

It’s not the same as lots of other athletes/celebrities that get caught. It’s because he has a holier than thou persona and speaks as an authority of Christian morality. It’s beyond hypocritical. And all the other guys in that camp giving him a free pass reveal their true colors too. It’s all a schtick.
