I have very little to say in support of anything shapiro says.

He was a complete tw*t at the end of one of the matches he won, maybe his quarter, and this is just sour grapes from him.

If he had been composed and a gentleman, I might listen politely and then ignore him, but this is his ego just continuing to run the show.

Really love to hear what he has to say about getting big brothered by antrell taylor too.

After all he’s been through with his concussions I just treat him like antonio brown.  Highly talented, but unbelievably predictable, and mentally just on mars.

Multiple former Iowa wrestlers are now retweeting Shapiro comments with “shocker” comments.

Is Penn State on the EPO program or what?

Why?

I think people should strive to be better than holding that level of conversation.

I believe in presumption of innocence, and we have nothing but pseudo-dermatology assessments from wrestling fans who have zero knowledge of any wrestlers medical information.

If it turns out it wasn't true, will we find all of the same people coming back to publicly apologize? Of course not.  And coming from another wrestler (instead of a fan) it comes off as a sore loser excuse.

This is one of the most absurd posts I've read on this board. What has Meyer done to make you take these kinds of digs at a 20 year old kid? I don't know what he did at the end of the match in question, but wow this is distasteful. Listen to his interview and listen to what the kids been through the last month.

It's stupid to throw an accusation at an individual wrestler unless it is a Brock Lesnar type situation. Somebody we don't suspect at all could be on PEDs. Who thought Obe Blanc was doping before he was caught? Who thought Daton Fix was?

The real question is whether there is actually any real drug testing for NCAA athletics? There is more incentive than ever to cheat with NIL. Don't teams test their athletes?

I know some folks that went to high school with him and let’s just say they weren’t surprised.  Rumors about him apparently started when he was younger.

One guy made the jump from 157 to 174 and looks like the strongest guy in the higher weight class. He has the exaggerated traps, delts, and pecs.  I raised an eyebrow...  but he doesn't have the cannonball shoulders... so maybe he just ate normal and "worked hard."

No wonder 50% of our athletes are bald af by the time they're 25.

Based on athletes on X chiming in, testing is extremely rare, like less than a handful of tests over their entire college career.

I wrestled D1 and not one of my team was tested in the 5 years I was there. 0 tests.

You're anonymous on an anonymous message board. Name names, bro.

Brock Hardy's taking on all the side-effects without getting any the benefits.

Didn’t another guy make the jump from 138ish to 157 this year too?

Stephen Buchanan made Josh Barr look like a 14 year old boy.  Buchanan is huge.

Can someone connect the dots for me with what Shapiro said?  What did he say that suggested ANY particular wrestler?  He was talking about ideas moving up to 165 but can make 149.  Then some guys may or may not be taking steroids - wink wink.  Where is is accusing any particular wrestler?  Please - need help here.

Some are saying he is talking about Kasak - pls be clear on what he said that would suggest that.
