Dylan Layton from Cleveland State to Rider

Melton Powe has transferred from Pratt Community College to Iowa State.  Last year he faced Minto at an open and kept it close although lost 4-2.  He has a good track record from high school.  He also happens to be a brother of Isaiah Powe (Chattanooga) and Daishun Powe (Northern Colorado) who are both in the portal.  Wonder if brothers will join him at Iowa State

With McNeil going to U of M I’m not sure Ohio St will get any transfers from the 

portal whilst having 7-8 wrestlers enter it. Also have a very small recruiting class coming in.

That’s my guess and I hope it’s him. He and Henson are friends to some degree. Hoping Henson can sway him to VT. We needed a stud there last season and have an open spot now.

Exactly (even though your timeline is a little off).  So, not a lot of evidence there and not a reason to waive a single NIL deal.  Totally unproven... and lost supposedly a great lightweight coach.

I believe that was what they were erroneously attributing to Michael.

 

I also want to point out, in case the sarcasm was missed, that there are fans on that forum that are calling out the kind of dumb posts I screenshotted.  I was just making a mocking reference to what happens when someone on the Hawkeye board posts something stupid and it turns into "Iowa fans say Penn State will explode tomorrow" or whatever.

He's still posting on there? I'll have to give it a look. Maybe CP is onto something... if he were 100% gone why would he be on the VT boards?

Michigan's offer wasn't much more than that.  Scholarship, Board, and a weekly stipend for food.  Legit the basics for P5 schools at this point.
