Bouzakis is a contender. Will be interesting to see what weights Davino, Bouzakis and Mendez are at next year. If one of Davino or bouzakis could go 125 that might end up being the best 1,2,3 punch of all time

Some salty 1-2-3 punches for Iowa off the top of my head: Lee-Desanto-Woods/Eierman; McDonough, Dennis/Ramos, Marion, Zaputil-Brands-Brands

Who's got better odds? Hamiti over Mesenbrink or Mineo vs the truth?

Edit: The truth of his statement, not Ed "The Truth" Ruth. Just to get ahead of your jokes.

What does this make him.. like 0-4 in the last month with his "breaking news" statements?

If Mineo reported the earth is actually flat would folks start booking flights to the edge just to see all the other lemmings jump off?  🙅‍♀️

The pass the roach just covered all:  123 punch and 2. either one would be there now if they could  3. Kilkeary might be just as good

Only time will tell, but all time?  Would you measure in total NC’s, or how? I think you could come up with nearly a half dozen linear combinations from PSU’s lineup alone that would end up being more credentialed than that one.

I don’t know if any of these guys will ever win an NC, but I’d take Parco/Teemer/Caliendo over that too.

When you end with "according to Mineo" maybe its time to ask a friend to hold your beer while you check other sources.  😉

When you say "according to Mineo" I think it's because you put down the beer a while ago and poured yourself a bourbon or six

i am an idiot on the internet

Just a guy with a facebook page and a twitter account who takes a ready, fire, aim approach.

He does live in the Lehigh Valley though so I probably would have given him better odds than usual at being accurate with this

Might explain how Wkn got sucked in, all those Redbreast Cask Strength pours last night.  😉

FWIW, Minnow appears to be doubling down (as opposed to deleting the tweet like would usually happen).

... maybe he broke both elbows?  😯

Minnow is the guy who was outraged with Flo accidently breaking Blaze to PSU, but has no problem breaking medical news last year (Wittlake: catastrophic and real) or this year with Crookham.  If true, it is bad news... but there seems to be a dispute over this.

Regardless, the Minnow is pond scum.

Based on context it's obvious RawDog meant 1-2-3 as in 125-133-141. I do think Bouzakis' potential gets often dismissed because of his inconsistency last season. He's only a sophomore this season and Davino is obviously a stud that gets to wrestle with Bouzakis in the room, giving him an advantage of having a good feel for where Nic is dangerous. IMO Davino's win says more about his potential than any lack thereof for Bouzakis. Nic has this year and two more, if he can gain a little more poise and avoid unnecessary risks/over wrestling positions, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him in the finals or even win it all.

Oh, woops. Apologies then. Cue the Iowa fans I suppose. Bouzakis looked good tonight, very close.

In recent history, despite a not necessarily “salty” 125, PSU still got 4 titles from RBY and Nick Lee in 2021 and 2022, so I would take them over Lee-DeSanto-Woods/Eierman

Stanich/Crookham and Beard/Taylor bookending each of Lehigh's duals last year was awesome. even though it doesn't answer the question.  its more impressive because not from the Big Ten

Highly doubt that’d be the best ever, but I also doubt Davino or Bouzakis can make 125.  Not too familiar with Davino but Bouzakis seems like he has a huge cut for 133 already.  I’d guess one of Bouzakis or Mendez bumps to 149 next year.

Mesenbrink, Haines, Starocci is this year, an actual thing, and better....

That is a 6-7-8 punch! A 1-2-3 must begin at 125. See above post for the rules. 🫡

I got blocked from the wrestling room as soon as I said one thing about a post that wasn’t true.  Well, not as soon as, he had to throw in a bitch ass comment before blocking me.  Par for the course….

That would be starting at 118 I believe. Very salty indeed though. They combined for 5 NCAA titles. I think Davino, Bouzakis Mendez could match or even top that.  Davino would probably have to find a way to make 125 for it to be possible.
