Just curious to hear some throwbacks of some of the top siblings that competed and had notable college careers, but wrestled for different schools. I can think of a number of siblings that were NQ or lower AAs but just curious to get some other names thrown in.

I think Mark (Iowa) and Chris Perry (OKST) are the most notable given their backgrounds and both becoming 2x champs.

Jason (Northwestern) and Alex Tsirtsis (Iowa) were both high school standouts with Jason winning a notional title and Alex becoming an AA.

Any others come to mind? It's rare that brothers with similar accomplishments coming out of high school end up attending different college programs.

The Blaze brothers are a future candidate for this topic.

Gabe and Max Dean

A notable asterisk considering they did, in fact, wrestle for same team. Goofy Ivy League rules surrounding covid definitely played a role in this. It's not like Max committed to another school.

Maybe not D1 but is there anything more prolific than the Lackman brothers wrestling each other in the D3 finals 2 years ago?

I Don't Agree With What I Posted

The Berge brothers from Minnesota wrestled for a total of 4 schools: Broc, Iowa and Minnesota; Brady, Penn State; Bennett, SDSU.

Casey Flaherty wrestled for the Gophers and his younger twin brothers wrestled for the Badgers (Ryan and Kelly, I wanna say).

The Roy brothers from NJ Shore area. Nick AA Michigan. Andy from Rutgers. Dan from ESU. Andy and Dan wrestled each other in EIWA 1/4s. Andy and Nick were scheduled to meet at NCAAs in 2nd round but ... And there's another brother that wrestled but can't find anything on him.

The Dufresne brothers- Mark AA for Lehigh and brother Ted at Lehigh. Kesner Seton Hall. Not sure where Theo went. Youngest Kevin went to Lock Haven then Centenary. And they pretty much all pronounced their last name differently. Sheesh! Dufresnee, Dufresnay, Dufren, Dufrain.

What, in your opinion, does prolific mean?

Dean Heil (OSU) and his brothers Logan (Cleveland State/Campbell) and Josh (Campbell) combined for 2 NCAA titles.  Both from Dean though

I don't know about Logan, but Josh Heil was a very solid D1 guy.
