One would think accuracy would be the thing they would want to make sure of.   examples of the MSM looking for accuracy:

We have mostly peaceful protests amid prolific arson and looting

We have insurrection when there have been no such charges applied

We have Steele dossier that was known to be a democrat plant and false

We have Kavanaugh is a serial sexual pervert

We have Trump was found liable for rape.   ABC is paying 15 million for that one.

A news media looking for accuracy would not state these things and most every MSM outlet did state these things.

My point was that Twitter and Tok Tok as "news" sources are absolute garbage. I know you want to turn that around and make it a mainstream media is not 100% accurate argument, but it does not change the reality of my statement that Twitter and TikTok are absolute garbage. Be that as it may, people want to pretend they are new sources when it suits their purpose, but then claim they are never meant to be news sources when THAT suits their purpose.

I don't remember you pointing this at Twitter or tiktok.   I thought you were talking being accurate if you were a news guy.   I just pointed out a few inaccuracies that the media ran with and still hold to  even in the face of evidence to the contrary.

If you were just talking Twitter and tiktok, ok.  I don't disagree.

I regret posting something I thought was accurate at the time. I ask everyone to do the same when linking anything about Trump or his cabinet nominees in return.

Why, pray tell, would you think it was accurate?

Do you go hunting for anti-trans news any time a school shooting happens? Or does your personal news feed just happen to be populated with a bunch of anti-trans accounts that jump at any possible opportunity to demonize?

You just can't help yourself can you...must be a miserable life you live.

Hey guess what...there was a tragic accident and A LOT of people's lives were changed forever in the worst possible way but go ahead and chase down a boogeyman to make yourself feel better about yourself in some weird narcissistic way by making this about anti-trans...again....this should be about the tragic event and the countless real victims.

I'll go ahead and recognize a mature stand-up guy admitting he was wrong for accidently commenting on a report that was false.

I’m not the one who posted anti-trans material here.

The person who introduced the boogeyman (transgender people and anti-trans theories) is the person who should draw your ire here. Also, he only admitted he was wrong after he was called out multiple times.

That said, he apologized and that is commendable.

Wow you are going big on this aren’t you? Someone asked what was happening and I linked to one of the top X links. I’m not anti-trans. You must have me confused with someone else. Or you’re still mad I never was a big David Taylor fan.

And I admitted in good faith that I jumped the gun linking an X post before I “was called out multiple times.”

Le duke tends to be a bit angry.   Rumor has it he doesn’t even like cute fluffy puppies.  At least that’s what I heard on x.

But, the accusation of the shooter being trans came from thin air.  Totally manufactured.

When the policeman giving the press conference said that all he would say about the shooter was that the shooter was a student, and he wouldn’t be saying anything about the sex of the shooter, a lot of people got the impression that there was some discrepancy to whether it was a boy or girl.  He started it by not being clear, concise, and factual.

I don’t know which back ups in this thread are better: someone in the media said it, so it must be true and I’m gong to run with it!…or….the troubled psycho wrote it down (manifesto sounds so sensational doesn’t it) so it must be true and I’m going to run with it!!

I’m going to start a thread about “how to think critically about what the psycho killer is telling you”

Twitter has breaking news and details that you cannot get from MSM.

You still have to verify the accuracy of the sources.

Agree.

Although on the subject of X and this shooting, they are blocking searches for Rupnow or Samantha Rupnow.  Did the same with Colt Gray (edit: who was also initially accused of being trans only for later evidence to come out suggesting that he was actually anti-trans)

He was very clear, concise and factual. People jumping to the wrong conclusion because of their own biased world view is the problem.

And by people, you’re referring to the hundreds if not thousands in realtime on X. Choosing which X poster’s summary to share with this group is risky business. Best to leave it to legacy media to sort out with their legal department and wait a few hours.

Verifying the likelihood that the manifesto was real, was simple.

Dad's Facebook has public photos available, including some photos in a Church and old comments about praying.  Also photos with alcohol.  Dad does not look particularly well-off in any photos or with the people in the photos.  The child was born before the parents were married.

MyHeritage shows the same two parents were married in 2011 and 2017.  Madison, Wisconsin online public court records have the divorce dates between the same dad and mom.  They also indicate that mom had her wages garnished for $5K after being taken to small claims court.  I couldn't find the marriage dates in the free access records.  This all took about 10 minutes from the time I first saw the manifesto.

There are claims they were married a third time and were separated.  There is documented evidence that the child was bouncing back and forth between parents.

The child talked about the fallout from this.

She includes that her parents were not involved with her, demeaned her, and did drugs.

This is a broken family.

Who was paying for the private schooling?

@red viking - Are you anti-Christian or anti-CINO?  I'm anti CINO.

---

According to the Christian faith, only God can ultimately judge someone's heart and faith.

As an agnostic raised in a Christian family, I'll judge.

Being a Christian means having faith in Jesus Christ, repentance from sin, and striving to live according to the teachings of the Bible.  James 2:17 in the Bible states, "faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."  The dad does not have the works.  He...

  • Repeatedly marries and divorces the same women
    • Malachi 2:16 (NIV) says, "The man who hates and divorces his wife does violence to the one he should protect."
  • Does drugs recreationally
    • 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV) states, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."
  • Does not provide a stable, secure, loving environment for his child
    • Ephesians 6:4 (NIV) advises, "Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."
  • Lacks consistent involvement with his child
    • Psalm 127:3 (NIV) calls children "a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him," suggesting that children are to be cherished and actively engaged with by parents.
  • Demeans his child in front of others and privately
    • Colossians 3:21 (NIV) warns, "Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged."
  • Raised an unhappy 15-year old child that was racist, murdered people, and took her own life.
    • Proverbs 22:6 (NIV) says, "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it."

Sure the 15 year old child has free will and no upbringing can guarantee results.

But this dad does not strive to live according to the teachings of the bible, which raises the question of whether his faith is real.  His faith is not real, and he is not Christian today, but perhaps he will be some day.

Most people don't have a problem with the teachings of Jesus.  Their problem is with CINOs.

Good question.  Perhaps the parents could and did pay.   Or perhaps they were helped by the school and state offerings.

Abundant Life Christian School's school can be paid up to 50% through a tuition assistance fund, "blessed to be a blessing" fund, and up to 100% of tuition paid for by the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program.

Lets say your assessment is 100% accurate it still doesn't excuse a twitter source or any proclaimed news source from stating it as fact.  When I first heard the story break I only had 2 facts.  It was in Wisconsin & it was at a Church school.  Being an honest guy I can admit my first thought was it was probably trans related.  But, I didn't post anything stating that because that was just a hunch.  When I first heard of the CEO shooting my first thought was that the shooter himself or a family member was denied coverage and he was seeking revenge. Both of my hunches were wrong.

I agree with what you said and felt the same due to seeing a couple tv reports in which they were using "he" and "she" pronouns.

But I also feel that more focus should be on the victims, but it never is and everyone wants to jump to the perpetrator and make it all about that.
