Brian Thompson CEO of United Health Care was murdered (shot several times) by a hit man this morning on the streets in New York.

The obsession with this is sickening. He's one of hundreds of people murdered everyday in this country and he was nothing special except being a rich dude.

Agreed.  But saying "It doesn't upset me he died because of his claims denials...blah blah blah" has nothing to do with trying to figure out what happened and why some psycho decided to take a life.

I'd never heard of him so I don't know enough about him to be sad. It's unfortunate but ultimately I feel the same about him as anyone else who is randomly murdered. Or in this case maybe it wasn't so random. I'd feel the same way had somebody been successful with Trump. I wouldn't cheer it but I wouldn't be especially sad because I don't really know or care about them on a personal level. I'd feel bad for their families but that's about it.

Your civic deficiencies have been evident for a long time.  Nice of you to expound on a few of them, but not a big reveal.

What's your take on why this particular murder is so much more important than the hundreds of other murders in this country every day?

Because liberal media loves a story like this. Death to Corporate America.

Suspect in custody and identified. Computer Science student at PENN. Does not appear to be far left politically. You can browse his twitter for yourself. Shows concern about low birthrates, the decline of Christianity, and the "woke mind virus." Reposts a lot of fitness and mindset self-help stuff (Andrew Huberman, Tim Urban, etc...)

To me, he looks like a type of center-right, populist adjacent young male professional that is very common nowadays. Conservative cultural values combined with select anti-establishment/corporation views, but very supportive of big tech/futurist stuff (Peter Thiel for example).

It will be funny to watch the right-wing media sphere completely drop this story now that it's clear he wasn't a lefty lol.

However, going back to my points earlier in the thread, this should be a wake up call. A prep school valedictorian with an ivy league education became to radicalized by his experience with our healthcare system that he decided to murder the CEO of the insurance company.

Because it’s unique.  Lots of people murdered, but how many high powered CEOs?  Murdered execution style, gangland style, not as a result of an argument, not a drug deal gone bad.  Coinciding with an insider trading investigation and a protracted divorce.  Until now, unknown perpetrator.  People still want to know why and how he’s connected.

As usual your takes are completely asinine.  What is your obsession with turning this into a political thing versus just focusing on the fact that the killer is a whackjob who shot a man in his back like a coward.

you can't be serious.

the guy was going to testify against major political and businessmen.

it was also clearly an assassination on video.

there's nothing normal about this. it wasn't a random act of violence. it wasn't a beef at a convenience store.

and it has major implications. how can you be this dumb?

If you believe this Luigi guy was actually the assassin I got a bridge to sell ya. And a vax. And an insurrection claim. And a Russian dossier

Has the second photo of the suspect with different colored backpack straps and no pockets explained yet?

I think it's important you post your findings showing that he is not the shooter or clarify that at this point you have a hunch.

I believe the photos were taken on different days.

Claims decisions are made on company policy decisions and company policy goals

Not true at all...the company would be shut down by their states department of insurance if that is how they made their claims decisions.  Claims decisions CAN NOT be tied directly to company goals or even their policy decisions.
