I appreciate the context. That's a fine source.

on hearsay about a guys attitude and nickname in the room, yeah a fine source. it is inconsequential information.

***I heard from my cousin's roommate's physical therapist's mother-in law that Spratley drinks water, not gatorade, at practice. The guy is really locked in.***

I mean come on. Of f*cking course the guy is not scared to go with anyone. You can say that about any D1 guy ranked in the top 20 of any weight class.

Brady Roark was kicking his a$$ and he looked like he got hurt....we shall see

Wasn't it like ~30 seconds into the match? How badly could he have been kicking his a$$ by at that point?

Because he was scared or knew it was stupid to risk injury wrestling with guys 50 lbs heavier when he had other guys who were better partners?

Well...I think he was more praising Kerk, but because he was scared of injury(so I guess that'd be both). He said it was like wrestling a refrigerator and he was so athletic for a man his size and didn't know his own strength.

I also don't think Kerk is or has been 50 pounds heavier the last few years. You're taking what DT weighs in at...most recently, that was 202 vs what Kerk walks around at...which is ~245 last I heard. It's really not that crazy to have guys at that size roll around a bit.

You assume DT was walking around at ~210, that's basically like a '97, they often Wrestle with the HWT.

Okay so 40 lbs... still not smart for DT to work out with a guy 40 lbs heavier that has a style difference (86 kg vs 125 kg)  when he has world champs Dake and Snyder to workout with along with Brooks Starocci, and McIntosh. You can take "afraid" DT and I will take "smart" DT as to why an 86kg guy won't wrestle with a 125 kg guy.

This really isn't that deep. You asked, Can you tell us which guys are afraid and won't wrestle everyone in the room, and I relayed what Taylor had said about Kerk in the past.

And I never said they needed each other as a workout partner, but it's really not that rare for a guy who's in the 200-210 range to workout with a HWT, especially a lighter one.

And I'm not "taking" either one. I'm just...passing along what Taylor said.

The key word is "afraid" ...which I didn't hear. I heard he doesn't wrestle him and then he has wrestled him and it is like wrestling a refrigerator. And if you read my comment in context you will notice that it's a sarcastic and satirical response to a statement that is about someone's knowledge of the Oklahoma State practice room.

The keyword seems to be pedantic.

Not Wrestling someone because they're too big, strong, and athletic to the point you're worried about injury...that'd seem to qualify, but...we can call it "smart," if you really need to make such a distinction.
