The weather is cooling down, the kids are back in school, and that means that preseason workouts are well underway, with the season just around the corner. If you are all interested I would love to use this thread to post about 2024 college wrestle offs. Best matchups, dates of competitions, streaming opportunities, results, etc. If there is already an older thread dedicated to this, please forgive me and I can delete this topic immediately. Lots of schools still have wrestle-offs and they are one factor, not necessarily THE factor, in determining starters. Some schools make up a wrestle-off at the end of a season in order to get a person close to them (that can't make weight all year) into the starting lineup without even looking at the full body of work. I would not be surprised to hear of McComas competing with Witcraft and possibly even beating him right now but I think he could benefit from a redshirt.
