Believe he is taking over for Tom Brands.

You also failed to mention how OSU screwed Gilman.  🙄

How'd OSU screw Gilman? By hiring him?

Yes ... they made him turn from his silly hawkeye ways.

Scott was doing a great job at North Carolina.  I'm sure he'll land somewhere good and do just fine.

Yes he was. He was the Head Coach of a major D-1 program on the rise. Now he’s unemployed.

Nobody screwed him over. It was his choice to leave and coach with his mentor. And it was clear from the time he arrived that no promises were made to him, verbal or otherwise. I’m sure Perry wanted the HC job too but it’s a state school, everybody had to interview for the position.

I don't think that most people from Waynesburg, PA could find Hofstra on a map.

No knock on Hofstra (or Waynesburg for that matter), it is just geography.

How ironic would it be if not getting the OSU job ends up being a blessing for Coleman? With all the proposed changes coming in college sports, I hope he finds himself a fulfilling career running a club or something.

It seems pretty unlikely that he’s going to be happy he didn’t get the HC job at Ok State.

A few rumors floating around, he is going to stay in Oklahoma and get into sales.

What, selling tornado proof trailers?
