I'd imagine

125: Drake

133: Teske

141: Real

149: Rathjen

157: Franek

165: Caliendo

174: Kennedy

184: Gabe (I think they'll need him to win)

197: Glazier

HWT: Keuter

If that's the case, I have:

125: Smith dec (3-0)

133: Van dee dec (6-0)

141: Real dec (6-3)

149: Ridge dec (9-3)

157: Robb dec (12-3)

165: Caliendo dec (12-6)

174: Kennedy dec (12-9)

184: Gabe dec (12-12)

197: Allred dec (15-12)

HWT: Keuter dec (15-15)

Is Pinto healthy?  He was injured last week and didn't go in either dual.

Ayala dec. Smith 3-0

Teske dec. Van Dee 6-0

Real dec. Hardy 9-0

Ridge MD Rathjen 9-4

Robb dec. Franek 9-7

Caliendo dec. Taylor 12-7

*Arnold dec. Wilson 15-7 - If no Arnold then toss up, but I'll go Kennedy dec. Wilson

*Pinto MD. Riggens 15-11 - If no Pinto then toss up but I'll go Bron Ton dec. Riggens

Allred dec. Glazier 15-11

*Keuter dec. Nash 18-11 - If no Keuter then Nash pins the backup IA Hwt.

Ridge might get bonus. Also don't sleep on antrell taylor and Arnold beating Pinto? Don't see it

I don’t see Arnold beating Pinto, but I also don’t Taylor coming close to Caliendo. I think it’s more likely a bonus point win for Caliendo than a win for Taylor.

I also think Lovett gets bonus.

How much better, if any, do we see Pinto being than Feldkamp? I think Feldkamp and Pinto are very similar both in terms of style and results. I think Gabe controls where the action takes place and wins one that is close on the scoreboard, but never in danger.

I don’t doubt he’s talented. But he doesn’t have nearly the wins to warrant any type of confidence in him over Caliendo. Who is an AA in a brutal weight class and looks to have jumped levels.

I see Pinto as substantially better than Feldkamp tbh. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Pinto against Keckeisen in a finals match and wouldn’t be surprised if Feldkamp didn’t AA this year. Pinto does go upper body, yes, but I think he’s more difficult to get underneath and is much quicker on his feet. I also think he’s actually capable of leg attacks. Whereas Feldkamp if you can avoid being thrown (difficult) and can get past his head and hands to his legs, you’re probably going to win.

Pinto can score from any position...

I respect it. I'm high on Pinto as well. I'm also high on Gabe. Maybe too high given his limited college resume. But hopefully we'll see it happen. I'm very intrigued.

I made the mistake of being too low on Gabe before the Oregon state match when he had Wittlake. I thought he’d put up a fight but lose a one TD match. Maybe I am underselling him again but I think the size difference would play an even bigger factor against Pinto who is a bulldog in his own right.

This may be all for naught, however, since Arnold has expressed that going to 184 was a one time thing. I don’t see it happening but maybe for a tight dual.

Would be interesting to see if Kueter goes.

I would be concerned about his gas tank, but supposedly he did limited wrestling training for his U-20 gold and his gas tank just wilted guys (Ukraine in semi).

That being said, he is probably way heavier than he was at U-20 and has been likely off the mat the longest that he has been in ages.
