I heard people saying 141 was possibly bonus territory for Iowa and they were lucky to win and now Voinovich decided not to take a committed shot at 149? This isn't going to be close.

Did swederski get injured last year?

I think he was banged up off and on throughout the year. People also said that the cut was too much last year. He wrestled 152 in HS

"What sort of emotions are you dealing with today" was a pretty ridiculous question

imagine if he said "anger at my father, and sadness about my inability to deal with things beyond my control"

I kinda get it but I think that is selling Max short. He would have taken an actual shot in the 3rd period when down by a takedown

Yeah that is only why I said a bit like.  Murin was higher pedigree and showed more urgency

So going into match 5 and it will be Iowa’s fourth transfer?

And 2nd for ISU, although technically I guess Chittum doesn’t count

Didn't they said he was a true freshmen last year and made the round of twelve. Not to bad.

Iowa has a lot of transfers:   Teske, Woods, Voinovich, Frank, Calienda ...

Maybe Iowa isn't a "flyover state" but a "fly to and land" state now.   Apparently, Pennsylvania, no longer delivers there, however.  Iowa Fly Over T-Shirt – RAYGUN

It could have been if Woods had gotten on top in regulation…

Wouldn't you say that Echemendia's "transfer" was a little different circumstance than all the Hawks we have seen so far?
