"But but but . . . our intentions were good so we cannot be held responsible or even thought of as idiots based on the actual predictable (and forecast) outcomes.  Who brings facts to a narrative discussion anyway?"  Virginia Governer Spanberger

Note - that quotation is imagined and projected on Da Gov based on her actual statements on this and other topics.  It is not what I heard her say.

Article quotes:

- actually increased the carbon emissions Virginia caused—and cost residents more money—

- director of the Virginia Department of Energy . . . called it a “bait and switch.”

- a “hidden tax” on electricity.

- the initiative cost Virginians $828 million, “every dollar of which was passed on to Virginians in their energy bills.”

- other states use the initiative’s funds to offset ratepayers’ energy bills, since the program increases costs for consumers, but Virginia Democrats used the money to fund other projects

- emissions in the PJM system would remain largely unchanged, while prices would increase for consumers within and outside

- which gave Spanberger for Governor $1.38 million . . . — called foul.

Does anyone recall the year in which Climate Change started?  I mean it changed so there surely must be agreement on when.  Was listening to Bloomberg few days ago and one of their respected analysts was talking about agriculture (prob out of area of expertise) and said "farmers lost their crop(s) due to Cimate Change."  Now I don't ever remember this happening so maybe cause I don't know when Climate Change started.  Help me out here.

2025   Forget it.  AI is more important and wind and solar won’t work for AI.

Ahhh yes.... I was a wee little lad just learning the mystery of the potato during those horrific years. That nasty fungus infection got our taters not one year, but seven.

Does this mean we need to INCREASE carbon emissions to warm the planet?

I would assume so ... burn coal burn!
