UR Tyler Kasak over Graham Rooks 16-0.

How was Kasak not ranked by intermat?  He beat #15 Singleton over a week ago.

Looks like Flo had him at 17 btw

He was on RS. He still has one more date, actually.

Dumb.  We know he’s most likely the starter

I agree. But both he and Davis weren’t ranked after OSUw, and I believe that was the rationale put forth by the various ranking services.

Mostly just intermat I think.   Flo had both Davis and Kasak in the rankings.   I guess Kasak there may be a tiny bit of question still, but with Davis once he went against Hofstra it was pretty obvious.

Sotelo (Harvard) over Noto with a late 3 point near fall. Noto looked starched losing 11-8. Sotelo was 0 for 2 BBQ last year at Nationals and has 6 losses, including one to Ramos in SV.

In four words you hedged your bet too.

There’s always a chance, but I’d bet it’s about 95% Davis goes and 80% for Kasak.

Are they not ranking any true freshman from any school until after they’ve had 6 dates?  That would be the only way this might make some sense.

Well with Penn State it is also something that isn't official.  From the horse's mouth himself (Cael) he said that they are 'most likely' the guy.  That doesn't mean they are, just that it is a high probability, but they are still not 100% certain.  So I think the FloBros are waiting on the 6th date.

Flobros are not waiting (which I agree with), Intermat is.

Not that it really matters at the end of the day, but IMO “high probability” = should be in the rankings

Ah you're correct - I misspoke there.

The other one that got me was The Wrestling Report seems to pull people from their rankings if they haven't wrestled in like two weeks?  Not sure there.

I might have had a small stroke, but I didn't see Lewan's name in 157lb rankings... I usually read good too.
