Some in the wrestling world are worth following.  Quentin Wight is one worth following - anybody have other suggestions and examples?  Here is a reply from Wright:

Wright was a split second away in OT from being a 3x champ like Bo.  Still, 4x AA, 3x finalist, 2x champ is pretty amazing for someone who wasn't really heralded as a top recruit out of high school.

“Wasn’t heralded as a top recruit?”

Where do you come up with this stuff?

Insert catchy tagline here.

… you’re HIGHLY regarded if you’re the #12 recruit in an entire class. I did the rankings in that era for InterMat so I know JC is just coming up with typical JC weirdness.

He was very unheralded. Not even blue chip. Just #12 overall in his entire class. The fact he started a single varsity match made Quentin Wright a bonafide cinderalla story.

#12 overall recruit according to Intermat, I suppose (articles this old are hard to find, so you may have better sources than me).  Shocking that the troll be trollin'.

You bunch of narrative-killing, wet blankets.

Next thing you are going to tell me is Jason Nolf and Mark Hall weren't Cinderella stories?

I think what @Jimmy Cinnabon is getting at is that in HS,year 2008, Quentin only took bronze for team USA at Junior Worlds Freestyle.  Obviously an embarrassment to our country at that moment and definitely deserved the unheralded moniker

If no Herald Angels were singing and no one was Harking then he was UNHERALDED.  Words mean things, folks.

Bartlett's, too.  It's the only thing keeping him from being the 133lb champ next season.

Damnit.  I was hoping we were past the days where I called appropriate people (*AHEM* BONO) c.... hermmm.... 'Turdbiscuits' but NOOOO.  Someone had to go and remind me he exists.

At least he isn't Jason Leonard.
